The kids walked out and hid in Hagrid's pumpkin patch, Harry, Ron and Hermione behind one peculiarly big pumpkin and Emily behind another. Emily saw the Minister of Magic (Cornelius Fudge), Dumbledore and a man holding a big axe. This infuriated her and made her start to wonder how to save Buckbeak. When the three grown men arrive at the house, Hagrid stood there welcoming them with tears in his eyes. Dumbledore glanced at the pumpkins where the four kids were hiding behind. Emily suspected that he saw them. "Shall we finish this now?" the executioner asked with a very evil grin on his face, showing the sharpened axe to Dumbledore and Fudge.

Dumbledore shook his head, "I would first want a nice cup of tea, or a large brandy." he responded. Hagrid invited them inside and closed the door. The kids slowly crept away and stood at the top of the hill, watching the scene unfold, Ron holding his just found rat Scabbers in his hands. They heard some mumbling and a slicing sound filled the area. It was done. Buckbeak was dead. Emily heard Hagrid crying loudly, and also heard Hermione sobbing on Ron's shoulders. Harry awkwardly hugged Hermione on her other side. A few tears were shed silently by Emily, having no one to comfort her.

All of a sudden Scabbers started wiggling uncontrollably in Ron's hands. "Scabbers, stop moving! Ow! He bit me!" Ron whined showing Harry and Hermione his finger with 2 teeth markings in it. "Scabbers is running away!" Ron shouted jumping onto the floor, catching his rat. All of a sudden the dog that Emily had seen wandering on the grounds with Crookshanks pounced on on Harry, pushing him over, and then continuing to get Ron, who was still on the floor rolling about trying to get Scabbers in his pocket again. Suddenly the dog grabbed Ron's leg and Ron screamed loudly, saying a few words that you would not want the adults to here. The dog didn't jump away scared, but went inside the hole in the tree trunk of the whomping willow, who wasn't whomping at that moment because Crookshanks - who had suddenly appeared - had pressed on a knot, freezing it. As soon as the three animals (the dog, cat and Scabbers) and Ron had gone in, the tree started moving again and Harry, Hermione and Emily all got hit by the tree. Hermione and Harry clung onto the branch, but Emily bucked, sprinting into the hole in the trunk. A few seconds later Hermione and Harry were thrown in screaming loudly. "Aaahhhh!" they both shouted, falling in a heap on each other. Emily snorted earning glares from the pile of humans and few metres away. They untangled themselves and walked through the passageway that eventually led them to the shrieking shack, with Emily up in front and Hermione bringing up the rear. "Lumos..." Emily said, Harry and Hermione following her lead, also lighted up there wands.

Upstairs they could here the teeth chattering of Ron, who was either cold, or scared, probilby both. They tried to get up the staircase quietly, but that was proven to be almost impossible as the stairs where so old every piece of dust made it creak loudly, hearable throughout the whole house. They reached the floor on which Ron was on a carefully opened the door, seeing a scared Ron sitting on the bed with a pale green face. "Don't come in! It's a trap! The dog is an animagus! It's..." Ron didn't get to finish his sentence as a man stepped in with black greasy hair and grey eyes matching with Emily's. Sirius Black.

A/N - Sorry for the time it took to write this chapter. I really just want to write a different book because I have many ideas but I promised myself that I would finish this one first. The whole 7 books.
