Blood trickled down her neck as she stood in the doorway, staring at the people in the dining room. "What is this?" Emily repeated. Remus rushed up and walked over to her.
"Emily! You're okay!" he exclaimed happily and brought her in for a hug. Emily winced as he touched her. Remus frowned, only then realising that she was bleeding heavily. "What happened?" he asked.
"Crucio." Emily grunted, obviously in pain. Molly rushed up to the girl and pulled her into a different room to perform some healing spells. She healed the cuts on her head, arms, and legs as soon as possible. "Anymore, dear?" she asked, and Emily grimaced before pulling up her shirt to reveal one of the worst cuts on her back and a few smaller ones. Molly gasped and Remus rushed in, only to gasp too, leading to Tonks coming in and gasping, and then Arthur, but before he could see it, Emily had pulled the shirt down and was staring at a suddenly very interesting fleck of dust on the couch. Molly noticed the sudden tense atmosphere and ushered everyone out, before carefully lifting her shirt. The was one deep gash going from one side of the back to the other, and the skin surrounding it was red. "Vulnura sanentur." Molly said, and Emily shrieked in pain.
Remus grunted, wanting to come in, but the door was locked. When it was opened, Emily seemed perfectly fine, but the scars on her head and back would stay forever. She had quite a few of them now. Remus rushed over to her, asking what had happened. "I went for a walk a few days ago, then a death eater started attacking me, then a muggle arrived in the park, so I ran for it, and then the death eater grabbed hold of my arm, and then I arrived at Malfoy Manor." Emily took a deep breath, "I was then tortured for 3 days, but Draco helped me and eventually, he distracted his father so I could stun Voldemort, duel the Carrow twins and apparate back here." Remus was too stunned to speak.
"You stunned Voldemort?" he asked. Emily nodded.
"You duelled the Carrow twins?"
"Yep. At the same time. Did get a nasty curse past my head though, but I won." she pointed towards a particularly nasty cut on her head.
The final question came. "You can apparate?" Emily nodded. "How did you learn?" Remus asked.
"I asked Noah when I was younger, and then I started practising, and eventually I could do it." Emily said, and Remus looked as if he had been slapped in the face.
"Alrightyo. My turn for the questioning. Where is Lucky?"
"The wolf?"
"Yes, the wolf, who else?" Remus shrugged.
"He's in a room, which I believe is yours."
"Did anybody feed him?" Emily asked.
"Kreacher did." Emily nodded and walked of, jumping the stairs 2 at a time, until she reached her room.
"Lucky!" she shouted. She heard a bark on the other side of the door and a scratching of paws. Someone had locked the door. "Alohomora." Emily said, and the door swung right open. "Lucky!" she breathed, relieved to see that he was still eating and sleeping. She hugged her wolf as tightly as she could without hurting herself. She cupped the wolf's face. "How are you, m'boy? Good? Let's go downstairs, I'm starving." by the time she and Lucky had gotten downstairs, everybody was in a conversation again. Remus and Molly were deep in discussion about who knows what. She heard them say 'Harry's hearing is tomorrow. I heard Dumbledore is going to try to not get him expelled.' Harry had gotten himself expelled. How in the bloody name of Merlin's buttocks did he manage that?
"Which dumbass decided to lock my door with a live animal inside!" Emily exclaimed.
"I think that dumbass would be me. But I do not agree with the word choice." Sirius replied.
