The man stepped in and Emily was disgusted by everything about him, his hair, his walk, his voice, his face, everything.
"Hello..." Sirius whispered with his raspy voice. All four of the teenagers were frozen in spot. Hermione stepped in front of Harry as Sirius pushed Emily to the side complaining about the 'Annoying slytherin Malfoy,' and for some reason that annoyed Harry. He was about to tell the man that she was his daughter and a gryffindor, but Emily did it herself, "Ai! I. AM. NOT A SLYTHERIN!! OR AN IDIOTIC MALFOY! I AM A GRYFFINDOR! But you wouldn't know, would you, Black!" Emily shouted angrily, stepping into the corner of the room, eyes brimming with tears unnoticed by anyone in the room. Sirius just ignored her and Hermione defened Harry, "If you want to kill Harry, you will have to kill us too!" she exclaimed, Ron nodding hard.
"Hah!" Sirius laughed grimly, "there will be only one murder tonight..." he adds murderously. Seconds later Professor Lupin jumped into the room, only seeing Sirius, Harry, Hermione and Ron, "Where is Emily?" he questions. 'Emily, that sound familiar," Sirius thought, but put the thought at the back of his head. "Here I am," Emily whispered softly, stepping out of the shadows, tears dripping out of her eyes slowly. Nobody dared to approach her, she was mad. After a few seconds of intense staring, she stepped back into the corner, shadows covering her like a blanket.
"Where is he Sirius?" Lupin growled, trying to forget what had just happened. Sirius pointed at Ron, and the boy's face drained of the blood it was left, if that was even possible. "Ron, give me the rat." Lupin ordered. Ron shook his head, "I said, give me the rat!" Lupin almost shouted, but then Hermione exclaimed, "I trusted you! I lied and covered up for you! And all this time you've been with him!"
"Hermione listen..." Lupin tried to ask her, but Hermione started shouting again, "Harry, don't listen to him! He has been helping Black get into the castle, he wants you dead too, and he's a werewolf!"
"Not up to your usual standard Hermione." Lupin mused, "only one out of three. I have not been helping Sirius get into the castle, and I certainly don't want Harry dead, but I don't deny that I am a werewolf..." Ron's face started to get greener by the second, but he pulled his leg away when Lupin tried to help him, "Get away from me, werewolf!" Lupin frowned, he forgot what it was like to be shunned like that. "How long have you known? Was it the boggart of the moon, or that I couldn't teach on the days of the full moon?" Lupin asks.
"I've known for ages! Since professor Snape sent the essay." Hermione said,
"Ah, professor Snape will be overjoyed that someone figured it out. You really are the smartest witch of your age." Lupin said, impressed.
"I'm not that smart, otherwise I would have told everyone what you are!" Hermione exclaimed, just as Snape entered. Everybody, including Emily aimed their wands at Snape and shouted "Expelliarmus!" and Snape fell back, as if he was hit by stupefy.
Emily zoomed out of the rest of the conversation until the rat - that had turned into Pettigrew - started pulling on her school robes. "You wouldn't let them kill me, would you, Cleo wouldn't?" he pleaded. Emily just threw him off. At least he somehow knew that she was Cleo's daughter. He then started to cling on the other's robes, and eventually Harry stopped Lupin and Sirius from killing him, but giving him to the dementors instead. Lupin chained himself up to Pettigrew, and Ron did to the other side. Off they went, back into the tunnel, of to go to the Hogwarts grounds.
There were outside, and Emily heard Sirius talk to Harry, "And if I get freed, then would you want to come live with me? Of coarse, I would fully understand if you would rather stay with your aunt and uncle..." he was interrupted by an overjoyed Harry.
"When can I move in, do you already have a home?" Sirius chuckled and Emily ignored the rest of the conversation, her eyes burning, threatening to rain again. Her own father doesn't talk to his daughter, calls her a Malfoy and a Slytherin, and asks his god son to live with him! What about his daughter? About Emily? She would have said no if he did ask, but he didn't, and he wouldn't...
A/N - sorry it took so long.
