[PART 1 END] Chapter 10: Battle Plan

(Chapters from here on out will now be way longer. Also, this chapter goes deep into map stuff, so I will  post the best picture I can of the fully made map soon. Just to let you know, this earth is about 1.7x the size of ours, and countries do not exist, only regions which can be called continents.)

Fun fact #3: Theres a tribal civilization in the northwest area of Furinyson (the region in which our story is taking place) that is in a blazing fire. Because of this, the residents became more adapt to fire itself, and fused with it to avoid effects. Due to their great companionship with fire, they can use it nearly perfectly, and as a result they are often invited to legal elemental tournaments.

"You just need to hold out! I will be there shortly!" The unknown man on the radio said. Just recently, a zombie just like the ones the group in school fought earlier appeared in the middle of the street, however it seems to be way more durable and most likely tougher in terms of battling. It did not hesitate at all as it immediately began summoning minions from the ground below.
It looked just like the regular zombies, had one eye in the middle of its face and a large horn on the left side of its body, although it was obviously taller, had a smaller but thicker horn on its right side, somehow had a glowing red orb slightly above its head and had tentacles sticking out of its body that look very similar to the demons tentacles. Its foot seemed to have grown some sort of fungus that looked like stone, perhaps it's just a trait.
As it continued summoning minions, objects began to float around it, revealing its telekinetic powers. It threw them around at the confused and terrified citizens, causing two people to be injured slightly.

Just then, two police force members who looked like the woodling race blitzed up to a nearby tower, then released a rain of leaf-shaped shuriken. James knew this ability, as he managed to master using multiple of them at a time, He called them "leaf shuriken" as did everybody else. It dealt some great damage to the new type of zombie but it used some form of quick healing that medical squads use on the injured, and reversed all the cuts it got. It let out a sudden yet ear-ringing screech just like the demon did at the school straight to the police, however they are extremely skilled and dodged it with ease knowing that the attack may be too strong to block.
"That was a very good move. They knew the attack may have been too strong to block so they instead dodged quickly." B1 said. "But how are they going to deal with a foe who can heal themselves almost instantly?"
The new type of zombie suddenly became to speak in a horrifying voice. It spoke slowly, saying "Beings that roam this planet, I, the sentient one, will end your reign. You shall die." It shortly after let out a beamer from its horn and began to shoot the beam at the top of certain buildings, causing metal and bricks to come crashing down. Although it was chaotic, Dave, Cory, and Denis managed to use their powers to save each citizen and inform them where to go. The two woodlings at the top of the building created a slab of wood, also known as the earth wall ability, and they then used a strength power up to kick the wood and cause it to fly everywhere. Although the attack seemed useless, the pieces of wood began speeding down straight to the being Nelson called a "Sentient." The pieces of wood slashed and broke through its coarse, rough skin and penetrated some of its vital organs, if it had any. It counter attacked by sending giant tentacles up to the building and trying to grab the police, but they immediately jump down from the opposite side and ran out from an alley.

Meanwhile, Chase, the police captain, was racing to the scene as fast as possible, getting ready to release a burst of electricity. Once he saw the sentient being, he immediately covered his arm in multiple thousands of volts, and hit the beings heart as hard as possible, causing it to be electrocuted throughout its entire body, drastically weakening it.
"The lightning shard is owned by a nomadic samurai in Western Lovoria though? How'd he get his hands on the lightning abilities?" Flare questioned James. "I don't know, maybe he met the last user, shards usually get passed down overtime. Either way, that was sick, I wanna help so bad now but I'm way weaker than anyone in the police force."
"Dude, this is way too dangerous for anyone to deal with. We need to get the army to deal with this, they are pretty overpowered even when they're compared to the police force." Flare replied.
"They're too busy fighting the war in the Lowland Evermore Ocean isles though. They don't need to get distracted with all the chaos going on around there." Eli exclaimed.
Currently, there is a small war going on between rebels who tried to take over multiple very large islands and turn the democracy into an anarchy. Since the very large government in Furinyson does not like war at all due to past conflict and also because they own the island, they send in over 30 thousand troops to assist the islands and their military. There has only been about 700 current casualties on both sides combined and Furinyson is winning by a huge and obvious margin. Because of this, and the fact that soldiers are also stationed in other islands to await other rebel attacks of sorts, there is only about 100-200 thousand troops left in Furinyson who are soon to be split throughout other regions like Hollorus.
Flare and the others continue to discuss the topic, then came to a decision that they must escape the city and let the professionals deal with it, as they are very trustworthy, and they were far to weak to deal with anything like the demon.

Dave, Cory, Denis, the two woodlings, and the police force leader named Chase were all gathered at the sentients area as they kept fighting it. Chase continued to release a blast of both fire and ice from his shard as it was an amazing combo due to Chase being a robot. Because of this, he isn't able to handle the heat of fire channelling throughout his veins, so he uses ice to cool his inside body out, while using it on the outside as defense.
"Let's get this done quickly, the evacuation must proceed." Chase said as he bundled up an extreme amount of flames into his left arm while releasing a burst of ice from his left. The sentient ran straight towards him as he lifted multiple objects around him to throw at Chase. They clashed together, and in less than a second, it was over.

Chase had ended in just the 2 minutes he had been in the area, proving how strong and overpowered he truly was.
The sentient was left covered in ice from foot to neck, with its arms limping out depressingly. Its face was completely burnt and it was very clearly dead, seemingly beginning to crumble into dust going straight back to the demon to replenish its energy. Right after it fully disappeared, the ground shook and screamed from below.
"What the hell is going on? Is it the demon?" Flare yelled.
"Whats a demon?" Chase asked. "I mean—I know what a demon is but what do you mean by THE demon.."
"Its a lot of explaining and stuff, but I guess I can just say a potion of mixed formulas and chemicals in our science class mixed together and created a portal to another dimension, allowing a demon or something to escape and destroy our entire school. Luckily everyone escaped but since it's heading for the city right now, we should leave like fast." Nelson told Chase. "Also, my names Nelson, I've barely heard of you before because I couldn't care less about research but you seem seriously cool and—" He took a breathe due to how fast he was speaking, but couldn't manage to finish his sentence as a zombie appeared behind him, leaving him without words. He didn't even look yet he managed to send a heavy kick straight through the monsters chest and killed it.
"Dude, this is beyond any beings level, your like, a god in this world!" Nelson shouted.
"Ah- don't sweat it. If I didn't have this crystal I wouldn't even be at this level. Anyways, enough chit chat for now, we need to get this evacuation completed. All the citizens are in the area went to the area they want to be located, so now we just need to control the groups of probably a million people or so and divide them up into multiple groups to avoid crowding. Let's get to work guys!" Chase exclaimed.
Everyone went to their respected areas as the group realized they lost their phones in the school and wouldn't be able to contact their families. Instead of looking around, they decided to go to the nearest evacuation zone, the southern police station.

At the same time, Chase and all the other police began gathering up the groups of about a million people each and splitting them into smaller and smaller groups up until the groups were about 3,000 each, Due to their being about a thousand police force members, plus the 300 who were spread around the towns, counties, and small areas, making it about 2500-3000 per group. At about 2:30PM (it was 9AM when the demon first arrived, and 10:30 when the group first arrived into the city. The sentient was defeated at 11, and the evacuation groups took about 4 hours and 30 minutes to form in total.) All the evacuation groups were fully set and ready to go, however the demon was getting extremely close to the city. At this point, the evacuation needed to begin or lives would be at stake, so the groups began moving out into their areas. The southern police station group had already settled down in the 5 different large bunkers about 3 miles away from the city, each highly reinforced. The harbor group began making their way out onto ocean, and the southern police force began their long , nearly 50 mile walk which would take about 16 hours to complete. Luckily, the police forces around the world had gotten the very first shipments of an energy replenisher pill for any people who began to lack behind. Although the group of the eight 8th graders sadly couldn't reach their parents and were probably split away from them due to very small groups being formed, they all stayed together to give each other company.

Just as they were about to leave, the demon made its way into the city, and it was very obvious that it got bigger. Way bigger than an average human. It was the size of nearly 2 trucks and had bigger and more constructed tentacles. Its ribcage got larger, and it grew small horns. Flare and the others stood still in place knowing that it also got more powerful, and only 11 people have experienced its wrath.

Finally, then and there, the government stepped in by bringing 5 air force pilots into the city to shoot the demon down.
