Flare walks into his 2nd period class, also known as science. It's a beautiful Tuesday morning and everything seems perfectly fine, though Flare feels like something is wrong. Ever since he had that conversation with Nelson, things have been stressful for him. He worries that a terrible thing will happen like Nelson says, and there will be nothing to stop it.

As he walks to his original seat, the teacher reminds him that there are actually new seats set earlier, and he was slightly late. When pointed to his seat, he stutters and realizes he is sat right next to Grace. He begins to walk to his seat with a pure tomato red face. Grace looks slightly up with a nice smile and waves, pushing the worksheet closer to where he sat.
He tries to keep his composure and focus on the lesson that is about to begin, however Nelson annoyingly started humming a tune that angered him.

"Nelson, stop!" Flare whispered. Nelson looked up from his worksheet and giggled a bit at Flare, then looked back down.
"Alright everyone, today we will be working on our group projects. I announced this earlier in the unit so I hope you remembered that you will not be able to choose your teams." The teacher announced.

"Ugh.. that's stupid." Grace whispered.
"Since the last semester just recently ended, I want you all to know everything will definitely be taken more seriously. Punishments from me will be way more strict compared to other teachers so you guys don't mess around anymore!" The teacher called out. "Now everyone get up and take your stuff with you so you can sit with your team.

The teacher began announcing the teams, as there was 32 people in the class and 8 groups each. As the third group was announced, Flare was the very first.

He soon learned he probably got the worst yet best group.
"Flare, Grace, James, Erik, Eli, B1, Nelson, and Lila! You all are on team 3. Wait for further directions in the back of the room.
"What!" Flare whispered to himself as he walked to the back of the room.
"Look guys, just don't mess me up and we will be fine, might as well let B1 do all the work, he's smart enough." James says in an irritating tone.
"Why does everyone keep saying that? Im just like you guys, the robot race isn't born with infinite intelligence. We have to learn stuff first." B1 says.
"Well then let someone else do it!" James replies.
"Hey.. maybe we could work together?" Lila whispered. "No way I'm doing all that work, it's too much! I have training afterschool too." James said. "Besides, when he explained the project it didn't seem that difficult."

"Hey James, just so you know this counts as 60% of our science grade for the marking period, and I'm pretty sure he did say it was going to be the hardest thing we do in this class." Grace stated. "Now if you don't do your part, I can easily just report you to the teache-"
"No way am I failing this class, that might affect my chances of  getting into the police force." James said in a serious tone, cutting off Grace in the process.

"Then why don't you just do your part when we assign them? Why does one person have to do all of it? Ever heard of teamwork?!" Nelson shouted
"Nelson, let's be honest, you should be the very last person talking here, you'd probably turn in your part late!" Erik replied, now angry at the argument that has just started.
"He probably wouldn't even turn it in at all." Eli said in a cocky voice.
"Guys, can we just- stop, and get ready to listen to the instructions?" Flare said.
"Who the hell are you? You haven't even talked all this time." James replied. "Im Flare, he literally said my name earlier." Flare shouted.
"I cant believe this.." Grace said as she placed her hand on her face. "Can we just get along? This group just started 3 minutes ago."

"TEAM 3! THATS IT! IVE BEEN LISTENING TO YOU BICKER FOR THE PAST 3 MINUTES AND YOU DISRUPTED THE CLASS IN THE PROCESS! ALL OF YOU GET LUNCH DETENTION!" The science teacher yelled loudly.
"WHAT?? No way! It was all their fault Mr-"
"SILENCE!" The science teacher yelled again, cutting off Flare.

-Lunch Detention-

"Why couldn't you just SIT still and not talk at all?" The science teacher says. "WHY CANT YOU JUST GET ALONG?"
"It's all James fault! He literally told us straightforwardly that he wouldn't do any work!" Erik shouted. "All you had to do was ignore him for a few minutes, yet you fail at such a simple task like that. You guys are lucky I don't write all of you up and send you to the principals office."

"Look Mr. Harold, we're all sorry, I swear! We'll just take the punishment instead of complaining. It was ignorant and disrespectful to interrupt you, and again, we're sorry for that." Grace told the science teacher. Everyone else listened in and began nodding in agreement to her statement.
"Very well, I wont write any of you up and this wont go on your record, but if this does happen again, it's an immediate write up!" The science teacher replied.
"Im going to get my lunch, sit still, and DON'T touch any chemicals!"

The science teacher then leaves the room, leaving the now relaxed students on their own.
"We're lucky we even got outta that, but if Grace didn't say anything I personally would've put the blame on James too." Nelson says in a cocky manner.
"Shut up Nelson!" James yells.
"Pfft, blah blah. I wasn't even sorry, I don't care about getting written up, unlike you guys" Nelson replies as he gets up to grab a pencil from the science teachers table. As he walks to the side where all the chemicals are to avoid a table, James throws a piece of paper right at his head, causing Nelson to itch his head and turn around in anger.
"JAMES-" Nelson said before realizing he had just accidentally knocked over 10 chemical beakers.

"Shit! Didn't he said not to knock down the potions!" Flare shouted as he jumped up from his seat next to Grace. "It wasn't my fault! Blame James, he threw a paper at me!" Nelson replied. "Now we're in even more trouble, thanks a ton!" Eli screams.
"Guys, I'm detecting a high level of power emitting from the chemical puddle." B1 exclaims. "We might want to move back.."
As everyone moves to the back corner of the room to avoid the puddle, a giant tentacle, able to reach to the very top of the room emerges, with suctions like a squid and a bright red tint to the skin.
"Oh god, what have we done.."
