"KEEP RUNNING!" James yelled. A large tree came rushing down on him in the process, however he fully focused his energy into his hands and punched the tree apart.
Shortly after they met Sentiria, the demons right hand woman, they were overcome by the pure feeling of fear and trepidation, however James was first to snap out of it and immediately screamed at everyone to begin running. They followed him quickly even though they were absolutely exhausted, with just their adrenaline pushing their feet forward. While they kept running, Flare eventually woke up with a pounding headache, mainly due to the constant running they kept doing.
"Whats going on??" Flare said, not realizing he was on Grace's back.
"Apparently, some demon with the name Sentiria summoned out of the sentient we were fighting, so now we're running away, because it's too powerful for any of us to deal with. Are you able to run?" Grace said. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Also, why am I on your back?" Flare asked.
He was immediately ignored as Grace watched a huge plot of land head right towards where they were running. It dropped right in front of James and caused him to panic, realizing there wasn't another way around other than through.
"Everyone, use your power on it!" James yelled. Everyone began shooting their specific abilities at the plot, and eventually it broke into pieces. James ripped off the pieces and slammed right through it.
"Come on, no stalling let's go!" He yelled at them, causing them to speed up and turn to the direction of the city. Flare got off Grace's back and began running on his own, although he didn't realize his arm was completely battered up. He decided to not touch it even though it hurt like hell to him. Somewhat like 20 whole blades stabbing his arm constantly, with poison put on the edges of the swords.
Flare was barely managing to keep up, however with the fear of being killed catching up to him, he did not want to risk dying just to catch his breath. Everyone was so focused that they didn't even say a word to each other. Whenever a different object came, each person dealt with it different like Erik and Eli shooting it down, and James punching right through them. They finally ran to one of the main entrances of the city, where they could hear the demon fighting the army. It seemed that more planes have arrived with bigger and stronger weapons, yet it wasn't helping as the demon gets stronger the more life force there is around it. Flare and the others could still hear Sentiria in the distance, so they ran into the city and hid in a short building to avoid being seen by both her and the demon.

"Flare, let me heal your arm. If you keep it like that, you wont have it anymore after this." Lila said, as she sat down right in front of him and placed her palms right on the wounds. The bleeding had stopped after that, yet it started to hurt even more, until eventually Lila pulled something out. It was a piece of a soul, which he had actually never seem before. This game him so much relief it was indescribable, as all the pain suddenly disappeared in an instant.
"Okay, im going to wrap it up now, I found this plaster on the way up to this floor. I took out your arms soul, which numbs the pain completely, and speeds up the healing process as your soul heals other injuries as it regenerates. It will take maybe 2 to 3 days to heal though, and once the soul regenerates partially, the pain will hit. Just don't even worry about it for now." She said. Flare nodded and could already see some of the holes in his arm gone.
Flare had never broken anything in his body before, as the only sport he ever played was fury-ball on the 2nd grade team, which is basically a form of soccer with different rules like being able to strike the ball with a leg fueled with life force. He quit that sport not long after it started, as he was just too relaxed to play it. Because of that, his body was new to getting injured, so it was very clear that it would heal way faster than normal. Flare on the other hand did not care about his injury and was more worried about what Sentiria would do if she found them hiding in the building. He was so afraid, he didn't even bother to get up.
An hour or so passed and it was night time around the area. No one was really worried about Sentiria anymore, as they were all just talking to each other to cool themselves down from the earlier troubles. It really got them closer in terms of friends, even though everyone knew this group would only last through the invasion of the inter-dimensional demon and then split off once school started back up again.

A lot of them were extremely tired from all of that days fighting and work, so they decided to sleep there, using sleeping bags they found in the shopping area of the building (they were in a small camping store.) They woke up early at about 7:00 AM and immediately went outside. The damage was catastrophic, and to the group, it was mind blowing. There whole world as they knew it, their home, their city, was burning and smoking left and right. They went from block to block, looking around for any police force members who returned from the evacuation. They found a few running towards something, however they spotted the group and ran towards them instead.
"Kids?? Why are you still here!? The evacuation took place hours ago!" One of the police force members said. Nelson came up with a sly excuse on the fly, saying that "they just returned from their friend's sleepover and they lived in the city, however they don't know where their parents or anyone is. This saddened the police force members, so they called for backup on their radio, said their location, and left.
Not long after, another group of police force members came through with a police truck, ready to pick the group up and take them out of the city. For some reason, out of all the police force members who saw Flare, these 2 were the ones to first notice him as the son of Mystin Ash. Their jaws dropped, and they couldn't even speak. The police weren't very worried and honestly didn't even want to pick the children up, but this changed their point of view. They made an excuse and headed back into their truck, speeding off very quickly.
"How'd that work? Why'd they do that?" Nelson asked. "I guess they were just worried about Flare, but that doesn't make sense at all! No one noticed you till now!" James yelled. "Thats just a load of bullshit. They must've noticed something else."
James was actually right. They did notice something else. Something or someone hypnotized them into not picking the children up, and it was someone very strong. Just then, a man with a silver katana, blue and black samurai robes, metal plated elbow armor, and early earth year shoes came jumping down, along with Chase, the police force leader, and Erik and Elis older sister, Ella.

Things just got so confusing.
