Chapter 11: Government Steps In

"Head straight towards the being, we cant let it have any room to breathe!" The woman driving the 1st plane said.
"On it, but we have word that it can summon minions. Police force should deal with it but we don't know the extent of its creations." The 3rd replied.
The planes flew down and dropped 3 strong bombs straight on the demons face, causing it to screech and fly away. The crowd of nearly 1 million people cheered in amazement and for once in this chaotic day they felt relief and happiness.
That happiness only lasted for a few seconds though, because 10 random beings began flying in the sky. They had 4 ribcages on their chest and a diamond shaped heart behind them, and they also had wings with sharp spikes on them and 2 horns.
"Theres no way! It just created a new type of zombie!" Nelson shouted.
They fly straight towards the fighter planes and cause them to begin flying higher in the sky to avoid them. The planes constantly move left and right but the monsters are focused right on their tail, as if they were robots who were coded to destroy the planes specifically.
"We gotta help them!" One of the police said. Multiple of them agreed and began to dash towards where the demon was, however it didn't forget about the thousands of people below and began summoning new types of zombies to distract the police. The minions looked like they had cannons for arms, and the other one was a gigantic zombie with a sharpened stick as a weapon. The cannon zombies shot skulls from their arms and hit 2 police force members very quickly. They were knocked over but managed to get up and counterattack with 3 fallens sending in dark lightning to their small hearts in the middle of their torso's.
"Maybe we could help?" Flare asks.
"I could, and so could Nelson and James but you don't really know any proper abilities, and I don't want you getting hurt." Grace replies.
"No-no worries Grace I'll be fine I promise! Fighting doesn't revolve around powers, y'know?" Flare said to Grace in an anxious tone.
"You're pretty brave, I love that about you." Grace said. Flare was at a loss for words and was as red as a tomato, making Grace quite confused. "I haven't really noticed him all that much in school." Grace thought to herself. "Wish I did more, but the past is the past."

"I don't think this is our area to interfere, these zombies are incredibly different and that giant one also seems way more dangerous than what we're used to. Let's stick with the crowd." James said confidently.
"Wow, you not wanting to fight? That's weird." Grace said in a cocky tone.
"Grace, nows not the time. It was a year ago either way!"
"Alright fine, but that doesn't mean I'll ever even think of forgiveness. I will still hate you with the bottom of my gut."
"What the hell is going on? Did they date and something went wrong?" Flare thought. Just as things slowed down, the pilots came rushing back through the sky being chased by the 10 flying demons, and sadly one of them managed to cling onto the left wing of one pilot, and completely snatched it off. "DUDE, LOOK!" A random person in the crowd shouted. Everyone watched as the pilot jumped out of his cockpit and landed on a nearby building, but the plane still came down straight into a different tower. Although it did not explode, it damaged the building quite drastically even when a few woodling construction workers reinforcing it so it didn't topple down on citizens around the area.
While the chaotic sky event was happening, the police decided to regain order to continue the evacuation while the other few police force members and the military pilots could deal with the demon and its minions.
"Everyone please remain calm! Begin walking without your group leader however do not split from your original group." A woman shouted into a megaphone. "I want everyone to head straight out of the city and continue walking from there, however please just remind yourself almost 1 million people is a LOT of people, you guys take up nearly 10 blocks!"

"Aw man, I wanted to watch all the craziness in the sky though!" Nelson said. "I stole popcorn from the store and everything too!"
"Uhh.." Flare murmured as he stared at him.
The 1 million people began scrambling to get out of the city, and although it was quite chaotic, they managed to move the ginormous crowd forward slowly but surely. The battles around the area continued to happen, but it seemed like the police and the military had a very big edge due to their insane experience with high power foes. 6 of the 10 flying zombies were already taken down and many of the cannon arm zombies ran out of ammo and were destroyed not long after. The giant zombie that appeared too was already locked in chains and Flare even watched as one police force member pierced its heart and caused it to disintegrate back to the demons original body.
"We oughta find a way to stop 'em zombie enemies from returnin' back to that flying squid demon." She said as she pierced the zombies heart.
"For now, let's just get rid of the threats to the citizens while the military figures out a way to destroy this demon without causing decade long nuclear radiation. And they need to figure it out fast or IT will keep on growing infinitely. For now we need some DNA from on of them to let scientists in the mainland to study." One of the head police force members said. He then grabbed a cannon zombie and knocked it out, using his proprium known as gravity buffer to carry it behind him.
Not long after, it was obvious that all the ground zombies were completely dealt with, and since the demon was too busy with the sky pilots and retreating from their constant barrage of bombs, they got right back to their groups and led them specifically out of the city.

Once they were at the border, the planes came flying right above a building and prepared to land on the ground a few hundred feet away from the horde of people.
After one woman came out of her cockpit, she started speaking to the highest in command for the police in the group.
"Commander, you may wanna get out of here as fast as you can, too many lives are at stake while that demon begins to take over the city." She says. "We can deal with it and all the things it spawns in, but for now focus on the people. Keep casualties to a minimum and don't lose anybody."
Just as she was saying that, the ground began to shake as tentacles began reaching out from sewers and pipes, causing havoc at the border.
"Commander, GET OUTTA HERE!" She shouted at him as he began to speak in the megaphone, stating that everyone should begin following him quickly in their groups.
Flare and his group of teenagers on the other hand were extremely shocked by the situation and snuck away from all the havoc.
"Brother, what the actual hell are we doing! We can't just stay here in the city!" James shouted at Flare.
"We're nowhere near the power level of police force members, and we already know we can barely deal with REGULAR zombies!"
"Don't worry, we aren't staying in the city, but we aren't staying with the group either, I have this odd sense that we should stay near the city and maybe try to help out the military and the police force." Flare replies with a grin on his face.
"Well if you do, that sounds pretty damn stupid and I don't wanna be a part of if, but me and my brother do have a plan in mind that the military and all the other troops can follow." Erik says.

About 5 minutes later, after most of the groups have made their way into the plains near the city, the group comes running out towards the air pilots who are getting ready to head back into the city.
"Ma'am, we have a plan that may work that you must take into consideration!" Nelson shouts.
"You kids shouldn't be here, you have to get with your groups this moment. No excuses, there will not be any heroes today." The woman replies harshly.
"I know but just listen! My 2 friends here are extremely smart and both have high IQ or whatever those things are called! And-and I just need you to listen to what they have to say!" Nelson shouts in a panic.
"If it'll get you kids to leave, say it quickly then go." The woman states, however stating in her head that it's just for the kids to leave and she won't take their stupid plan into consideration.
"Alright, so firstly we already know the military has created non-nuclear bombs like dark energy bombs from the lightning the Fallen race emits, meaning if a bomb like that is dropped right on the demon once it gets much bigger and reaches heights way over most buildings, it will reduce the amount of damage the bomb causes, removes the effect of any radiation, kills all demon minions due to the lightning only affecting living beings, and will completely destroy the demon in the process. The only issue with my plan is that its quite risky to let the demon constantly grow at its alarming rates, which is why the military and the police force should unite to create an unbeatable force to keep the demon at bay." Eli says all in a quick tone.
"Now I know you may not even take my plan into consideration, but if we don't gain any plan, the demon will end up finding the nearest group of escapees and annihilate them with its power! We've seen what it can do firsthand, and if its power grows as much as it does, we would legitimately be loosing a whole million people!" Erik says.
The woman looks at the other pilots and actually begins to comprehend the situation Erik had just told them.
"Kids, I understand everything you have just said and this might be the best plan for us, however it will be very difficult to unite the army Furinyson has left and the cities police force due to the how spread out everyone is. If you have a copy of the plan, we will send it straight to the government, and see what they think." The woman states to the group.
"Now leave! I trust in your plan no matter what!"
