Chapter 25: Times Two

Time has passed, and a few things have happened since Lorivorus, the mythical of soul, was awakened from her deep slumber. The group decided to split into two, where Flare, Grace, James, and Eli go and find Sentivorus, the mythical of woodling, along with Furivorus guiding them, while B1-35, Nelson, Erik, and Lila go and find Medivorus, the mythical of fallen, with Lorivorus guiding them. It was going to be a short journey, as the mythicals fell asleep quite close to each other, but the 4 gods would eventually have to meet up and awaken their final enemy, which was their own brother, Wikivorus. The fight they had was confirmed after the group asked a lot of questions earlier on.
Meanwhile, in the city, the police force were fully grouped up, and they were looking at the current state of the city. The demon had became extremely large and it seemed as if it was just going to grow infinitely. Kylario, Conin, and Ella were in the city on a research mission for the scientists on the force, and they were studying the way the different types of zombies acted. Some were restless and destroyed everything in their path, while some were very loyal and stayed close to where the demon was levitating over, and some were calm and collected, which were the mainly stronger ones. It was getting dark as the day was coming to an end, and Chase and a few others were worried about Flares mission. Although Conin assured them that they were alright but were doing other things, they still worried as they were young and inexperienced. Chase put it off his mind as he had a full police force to direct and had to report all his findings to the presidents team very soon.

"So, Flare and Grace, I need to talk to you,  let's take a break over here." Furivorus said as they walked under a nearby tree and sat. The others followed as they were curious. "Alright, so your proprium is basically your main source of power. Once you start genuinely learning the capabilities of your race powers, you can unlock it, but it takes a lot of mental and physical control. Children below the age of 5 cannot unlock a proprium while the elderly above 80 can no longer access it. There would be no need for that either way as people like that should not be fighting in any way." He said.
"You proprium will always revolve around your race, basically meaning if you don't have an elemental shard or whatever you guys call it these days, then you, for example, cant have earth abilities within your fire race, cause that literally wouldn't make sense. Im sure someone like Sentivorus would explain it better, so let's just keep walking and maybe you two can figure your stuff out along the way, I already feel his life force nearby."
They kept walking, and the two experimented with their flames. As they took what Furivorus said into consideration, they acted as if they were pulling out the power from the bottom of their gut, like scooping water from the bottom rather than the top. Although Flare was unable to feel anything different, Grace both felt and saw a significant difference in her power. Her flames began to emit a purple aura, as if a strand of string was attached to it no matter what. It also made her fire feel stronger, and things burnt way quicker, which she learned after keeping it on her hand for too long.
Flare wasn't discouraged about his inability to obtain his proprium, as the soul mythical Lorivorus just recently healed his arms. He wanted time to relearn how to use his flames at 100% again, and that would take him some time. He wanted to focus more on how to become faster and stronger due to the constant increase in the enemies powers. The demon was a very intelligent being, and he knew he wasn't the only one who thought it had something up its sleeve. His mind was always repeating the same thing: "Why would he send multiple extremely strong enemies to a group of children if there wasn't any genuine threat?"

"Hey Furivorus, whats a way I can get fast without working out or exercising my legs? I think it would be better if I worked on speed rather than my power, which isn't really at its best at the moment." Flare asked.
"Hm.. theres not really a meta way to get fast instantly, but theres a very simple trick as long as you have a decent amount of life force in your body. Anybody in their prime teenager years and above, mainly 14 and up, can do this. I also made it up myself!" Furivorus said as he smiled proudly. "Firstly, try and think of your heart. Your life force is mixed into both your soul and your body, specifically your blood. The difference between life force and blood is that you can control where it moves to. When you think of your heart, focus on it and think of your life force at the same time. Now, think of your feet and move your life force there."
Everyone followed what he said and their feet began to feel stronger. "Now, create a diamond with your hands and fingers, and it'll lock your life force there."
Everyone continued to follow his directions, and it was a process of trial and error. Grace couldn't manage to get her life force consistently flowing down to her feet, while Flare was having a hard time controlling where the life force goes.
"It's a trial of failing constantly, but you guys will get it soon!" Furivorus said.

Meanwhile, on the journey to Medivorus, B1 asked about Wikivorus, and Lori was ready to answer almost instantly.
"Im guessing you asked hothead about it back when I was still asleep right? That was not the brightest idea, cause he's not the brightest person, with his weird memory issue." She said. She then explained the events of Wikivorus just as Furivorus did, but with more detail and understanding. She then added something onto her explanation, that altered everyone's thoughts.
"The issue about Wikivorus is his brains capacity. He had the strongest mind compared to any of the other 4 mythicals, which came with having strongest opinions and feelings. He wasn't so fond of humans because he thought they were ruining the world that our father created, and when they started gaining our powers and abilities, it lit his emotions up like a torch. There was once a time where he massacred a whole village, and didn't even bother to tell us about it until we figured out on our own." Lori said. "He was a corrupted god, with too much power in his hands. Im positive that robots and all the other races are equivalent in this current time period, but back then, they were on a whole different league. Wikivorus was beyond everyone's power level, which included Sentivorus, Medivorus, me, Furivorus, and any important person from ancient or recent times. When we fought him, it was like fighting a transcendent being, one who had achieved unlimited power. Of course, we managed to defeat him, but it was insanely tricky, and it was all thanks to Furivorus. Thats basically the entire story."
"So what will you do when we reawaken him? He won't react nicely to how things are now." Nelson said with slight amounts of fear in his voice. "We aren't awakening him, me and Furivorus agreed on this. Although we will never reach our maximum power like we did have before we fell asleep, we can still deal with the demon." Lori replied. "You know, I'm glad we were reawakened by young people like you guys. I see great potential in all of you if you've come this far!"
"T-thanks.. but when are we ever gonna get to Medivorus?" Lila asked. "Right now actually!" Lorivorus replied.

On the lower area of Furinyson, at about 5AM, the group had finally made it to where Sentivorus was sleeping. It was a very peaceful place, and the moon lit up the area, creating a divine scene.
"We're here! Welcome to the lush forest where Sentivorus, my brother rests!"
