Cassie's pov

I woke up the next morning without my husband by my side. I frowned, glancing at the clock. It was already eleven in the morning - I must have slept for a really long time. I smiled remembering last night and now I missed him. Where was he? I wondered.

I stood up and felt a bit sore down there, but it was a good kind of sore. I took a shower and got dressed in some comfy clothes, and went to look for my husband.

I heard noises coming from the kitchen. I went there, and there was my husband with Mia. There were playing with pancakes batter and I wasn't sure I liked it one bit.

I faked a cough, and they both looked in my direction. "Hey, honey," Xander said, walking over to me. He kissed me ,"How did you sleep?"

I smiled, trying to hide my true feelings.

"What's Mia doing here?" I whispered to Xander, trying not to let Mia hear.

"Oh, she's back in town and came to see me," he said, bringing me over to where she was standing.

"Hey, Mia," he said, "You remember my wife, Cassie?"

"Of course," she said, smiling. "How could I ever forget?" She hugged me, and I was forced to hug her back.

"How are you doing?" she asked, giving me a warm smile. "And where's that beautiful baby boy?"

"He's with my mom," Xander said. "He'll be here soon."

"We're making breakfast," Xander said. "It'll be ready soon, okay?" He gave me a soft smile, but to me, they seem to be slacking than making breakfast but I just faked a smile and said okay.

"Oh my god, Cassie!" Mia exclaimed, pointing at my neck. "There are a lot of hickeys there! Xander, you vampire!"

I was shocked and embarrassed. I tried to cover my neck, but it was too late. "Where?" I asked, feeling flustered.

"There!" she said, pointing to several spots on my neck. I could feel my face turning red. Xander looked apologetic, but I could tell he was enjoying seeing his marks on me. I was so focused on seeing Xander that I forgot to check for any visible marks. I glared at Xander.

"Xander you are so gross putting so many hickeys all over her "Mia said.

"Shut up Mia"  Xander said.

"Excuse me" I said and went to my room, I was so embarrassed what if someone else had seen it I thought and started covering them up.

Xander's pov

I woke up and checked the time. It was 10 am , I must have been so exhausted I never sleep past 8 am. I smiled as I looked at my beautiful wife, snuggling up to me in bed. I still couldn't believe last night had happened. It was a dream come true for me. I never thought I would have the chance to be with Cassie like this.

Last night was amazing, and I couldn't wait for the next time. The last time I woke up with Cassie in my arms, I was filled with regret and nerves. But this time, it was different. I was over the moon and looking forward to our future together. I kissed her on the forehead and decided to make breakfast for us.

As I got out of bed, she reached for me, trying to pull me back. I smiled and replaced myself with a pillow.

I thought Cassie would wake up when I left the bed, but she must have been really exhausted. I smiled and took a shower, putting on some loose pants and a tight shirt. I went downstairs and started making breakfast. While making the batter , I heard a knock on the door. I thought it must be my mom and Alex, so I went to open the door. But to my surprise, it was Mia! She had been out of town for a while, and I had no idea she was back.
