"Mrs Walker is here for her session, Doctor". One of the nurses came in as Steve looked up from where he'd simply been sat contemplating at his desk. Contemplating her.
"Send her in". He nodded as Dinah now appeared with the journal.
Steve rose from his chair as she gave it to him, the nurse walking out and closing the door. "My bedtime reading no doubt..." He said as she settled herself onto the couch across from him. "How are you feeling?"
"About the journal entries? Or just my health in general?" She asked with a small smile.
"Let's go with both". He said, taking his pad and pen to make some notes. Although with how they'd been so far? Not much would be written down on 'professional time'. The journal was now holding everything between them.
Dinah's had fidgeted in her lap. "I feel better, brighter, Natasha has noticed a change - although I dare not tell her that it is you who can take credit for that". She smiled down at her skirts, not daring to look at him for fear of the flush rising in her cheeks. Even now it was tugging at her, aching even. She ached for him, for his hands to be on her once more - his body to envelope her own.
"I can tell she's become a good friend to you. That's good. Nat needs all the friends she can get. She was very lonely before you arrived, barely could confide in anyone besides myself. Her trust was and still is withered. You may be of some comfort to one another".
"She is scared..." Dinah knew she was probably crossing a line here, but it was obvious.
Steve nodded. "That isn't something I can discuss for obvious reasons. We're here to talk about you". His eyes flickered up from his notepad to meet hers.
"I would prefer not to talk at all, doctor..."
He was in thought for a moment or so, then putting the pad to one side and standing up. "Would this evening's session require so physical therapy?"
"I believe it would be beneficial".
"Lie back on the couch". He instructed, shrugging off his doctor's coat and hanging it on the coat stand in the corner of the room. Checking the time on the pocket watch that hung from his waistcoat, he knew they'd make good time, then walking to the door and locking it. They couldn't afford to be disturbed. "Now Miss Dinah...let's start the examination then".
She lay back, letting him now push up her skirts as his body covered her own, lips meeting hers like they had been for the purposes of 'therapy'. His fingers caressed her between her legs, circling her clit and making her gasp, body arching into his. "I think this will need to go a lot further than simple pelvic stimulation, in my medical opinion..." He told her.
"Yes...anything..." She felt ashamed at just how much she was begging. She had never done so when it came to the man that had been her husband. He'd never made her body come alive during their intimate moments, not like Doctor Rogers had.
His hands went to his trousers to undo them, while she pulled her skirts up a little more, then allowing him to settle between her legs, feeling the head of him brush against her core. Her breath hitched slightly, and then she let out a groan as he pushed into her slowly, silencing her with a kiss once more. She felt the stretch to accommodate grow, knowing that come morning she would ache. But it would be worth it for the sake of her health.
"Steve..." She uttered as he began to thrust into her with long, deep strokes.
"Am I hurting you?"
She shook her head. "No...no it...please, harder..." At this point if she couldn't walk then she could always just feign a headache and keep to her room all day. Not that the nurses would care, they would be more than happy to have one less patient to watch.
His hands trailed her body, knowing it was too much of a risk to shed clothes. He'd need to come up with a way to see her after hours. Easy enough considering he was a medical professional. He felt her tighten around him as his thrusts became harder, stronger. "How could he ever let you slip through his fingers..." Steve now asked out loud. This woman was simply divine. absolute perfection - and yet she had been so very wronged and abused by a man who did not deserve to so much as look at her, let alone take her as his wife.
If Dinah were his wife however? He would ensure that no one would ever hurt her again. Physically and mentally.
Feeling her clinging to him, her body shook as he felt her come with a small cry, now letting himself spill inside of her until there was no more left to give. She deserved him. She deserved all of what he could provide her with.
They both lay there for a moment, allowing the aftershocks of their climax to wear off before he got to his feet.
Dinah pulled down her skirts and smoothed them out. "I have a confession for you, in the journal. It wasn't something I wished to talk about in person. Not because I don't trust you, obviously I do. I just...it seems more personal that way".
"I'll read it tonight and pen my reply. The journal will be back with you tomorrow when I do my morning rounds".
She stood up and walked to him, his arms now sliding around her waistline. Their lips met once again. "You see me for who I really am". Dinah now admitted.
Tucking a stand of hair that had become loose from her bun behind her ear, he caressed her cheek. "This is therapeutic for me also, like you wouldn't believe".
"I don't want to go back to my room".
He sighed. "I wish you could occupy mine, but that's something I need to figure out. How to do this after hours. At least then we're not at risk of someone knocking that we have to scramble to dress".
Walking her back to her room, they stopped at the door. "Sleep well, Dinah".
"And you, Steve". She smiled weakly, knowing that he would now have to be the one to lock her up.
"Believe me this doesn't give me any pleasure". He told her truthfully, taking the set of keys from his pocket.
"I know, but it is for the best I suppose". And without another word, she turned away and walked into the room, looking back at him sadly as he closed the door on them both and locked it for the night.
