Crack: summon Pasio, the artificial island from Pokemon Masters(EX) into some body of water somewhere with or without summoning Subaru. It has basically every gym leader, Kahuna, trial captain, elite four member, champion, player character, evil team leader, rival, professor, legendary pokemon, mythical pokemon, a couple anime characters including Ash Ketchum, a lot of other notible trainers, and lots of random trainers as residents(a city exists there). This is a location from Pokemon at the nominal present, so modern tech and stuff such as pokeballs. Could say that Mabeasts are a subset of Pokemon that were artificially created, like Porygon, for this fic. You can have the Masters player character be the same as in-game or make them some variation of Subaru with the player character's outfit and learned lessons from the game's events(could do the latter then summon him as normal with all the pokemon the player character is able to get including the legendaries accessible from the box system along with all the far too many items in his bag including 4 giant golden spheres, have him on the island as it's summoned, or have him get summoned and do Arc 1(and possibly 2) before using Solgaleo to go back to Pasio and then Pasio is summoned). Idea: Have Subaru come from the world where this(link to the Ultra Beast report shorts made in promotion for Pokemon Go was originally here) is happening(and he was sent after 2022 I guess, one video not in playlist for some reason), whether that is just a diverged real world without native Pokemon at all or the version of the world is seen in-game in Pokemon Go(think it is a world with all Pokemon locations and real world locations on the same planet, or just the real world, but with Pokemon and characters that are from Pokemon world and got here through Ultra Wormholes or something(originally a link to the promo video of Hoopa bringing Galar pokemon to Pokemon go here)). Anyway, he can comment about this and have some of to all of this footage to show people, brings pokeballs and pokemon if he is from world with pokemon(probably make mabeasts a subset of Pokemon and give Subaru the ability to craft Pokeballs with this scenario).
Alternatively, just have what's happening in the video start happening in the Re:Zero world. With or without Subaru being from world where that was happening, I think that the Ultra Beasts would go after him and other Isekai characters thanks to them going between dimensions, and therefore being similar to or identical to Fallers.
