Idea: Subaru is from the ARMS(game) universe and has ARMS(extendible).
The ARMS(extendible) manifested at an early age and further fueled his complex when he found himself falling behind in multiple fields including ARMS(sport). Kenichi also has ARMS(extendible), was a competitor in a previous ARMS(sport) circuit, taught Subaru how to fight with ARMS(extendible), and Subaru happens to be borrowing some of his ARMS(equipment) upon transport(they're in a bag he has). Unsure how to do Isekai'd characters, some Mabeasts could have ARMS(extendible) thanks to Daphne getting inspiration from an isekai'd guy explaining the concept?(there is a Sharknado Mabeast) He would probably be thought to be a previously unknown Demnihuman species. Some ARMS(game) lore stuff: ARMS(extendible) either manifest as something that was physically close to the one subjected upon awakening or something very personal to them and it typically manifests overnight(Would say Mayo if I knew how that would work). Iris takes a spiral shape. A special mask is required in order for ARMS(extendible) to not coil and uncoil at random when attempted to use, they go back to normal arms otherwise. ARMS(extendible) exist in plants and animals of the ARMS world, not just humans, 20% of the human population has ARMS(extendible). Also, lots advanced technology in the ARMS(game) universe, some of which is modeled to have ARMS(extendible), advanced genetic engineering also. Also, publicly known Ninja College.
