I knew I had hurt Sebastian. I just couldn't lie to him or myself. I truly belonged to another person. I belonged to my Spanish Adonis. I belonged to my step-cousin. I belonged to my heart. I belonged to him. We were fated souls. Gabriel and I were placed on Earth to be with each other.
When he told me to find someone to retrieve me from Almeria, it hurt me a lot. So much. He didn't even want me until Cartagena. To see how much I had hurt him. I left my food and him in the kitchen. I told him I was calling my mother, but I couldn't. I would have to explain to her things that she shouldn't know yet. There was only one person who could comfort me. Gabriel.
I went out onto the deck and dialed Gabriel.
"Hello." his voice made me cry.
To know that I had turned down Sebastian for him with the uncertainty that even the two of us would last, it hurt.
I sniffled. He couldn't hear me cry. I couldn't do that to him. We had sixteen hours before we saw each other. I wanted him to be happy for every minute.
"Ana what's wrong?" he asked, concerned.
"I am a horrible person, Gabriel. I am a mean and wicked person." I cried. I couldn't contain it.
"What happened?"
"He asked me to be his girlfriend." I continued crying. "I said no, of course. But, Gabriel, you should have seen him. He was so upset. I hit him where it hurt."
"You are not a horrible person. Never think that. You told him the truth." He was right. I knew he was.
"He told me to find someone to retrieve me from Almeria tomorrow," I informed him. I knew it would make him mad. However, after I got this out of my system I would take him up on his earlier offer. "Can you come to get me?"
"Of course. Ana, I am so sorry. I will make it up for you." I knew he would. I had an immediate idea in mind of course.
"I might take you up on your earlier offer now. At a later date, I will take you up on that one."
"Are you alone?" he asked.
I looked around. The coast was clear. Literally and figuratively. "Yes. Are you?"
"Everyone else is out in Seville. They left after dinner." It made me smile.
"I am switching to video." I wanted to see him as he pleasured himself and I wanted him to see me. I laid down on a lounger. I hadn't changed any clothes. I was still in the bathing suit I had worn earlier.
When we had each other on video, I smiled. He looked even more perfect after being away from him. If that was even possible.
Then we began. The ride was exciting and powerful. Round and round of explosions were precedented by admirations and the notings of what we would do to each other if we were in the same room.
The heat kept building and building until the fountain overflowed and I was left empty, but filled with a high.
Afterward, we talked until I began to fall asleep. I placed the phone against a light on the nearby table. I wanted to see him and hear his voice until I fell into unconsciousness.
"I love you," I whispered, falling asleep. "Forever. I'll always want you."
