All I wanted to do was hurt Sebastian. All Ana did was tell him the truth and he was throwing her off the boat. Ana had been fairly excited to go on this trip. I had to make it up to her. He wasn't even letting her stay until Cartagena. I withheld my anger. I could hear she was upset and I didn't want to add to it.

After the momentous pleasure we exchanged over the phone and talked about what we had been doing, she whispered, falling into unconsciousness, the most powerful words on Earth.

"I love you. Forever. I'll always want you." My heart swelled while breaking. If we couldn't work, I didn't know how either of us would survive the fallout.

I was living on a high. However, I couldn't stop thinking about that moron's face and bashing it into the pavement. Also, I couldn't help but wonder if she meant the words she said or if she was just upset from being thrown off the ship. There was no way I was going to let that dumbass get away with what he did without repercussions.

So, I dialed his number. The line rang once, twice, and then I heard him answer.

"Hello?" he yawned. I didn't give two shits if he was tired.

"Where the hell do you get off?!" I shouted. Full of rage and anger.

"Gabriel? What the hell are you walking about?" he acted all innocent. As if he didn't know that I would find out.

"Are you that dumb?" Yes. Yes, he was.

There was silence.

"I should have known she was calling you." His remark made no sense. "Listen. Before you go shouting at me, maybe you should teach your little sister the right way to dump somebody. Man, she is brutal. She is a real bitch. I thought she was a genuinely nice person, but man, that girl is like ice. How do you stand her? I can't wait to tell the guys. They will never want to date her."

He was a little boy still. He couldn't deal with the fact that Ana didn't want him. He was becoming defensive.

"You. Listen. Just because she doesn't want you, doesn't mean that you have any justification for spreading lies. You are so selfish. Couldn't you see that she wanted to be on this trip with you? She was looking forward to it. Now, not even twenty-four hours in, when you don't get the result you want, you throw her off! Tomorrow better be the worst day of your life. When you realize you have lost her. Forever." Now I was becoming defensive.

"Whatever bro. If you were in my shoes, you would have done a lot worse." He became silent. I hear him take a deep breath in. "I just have one last question." What could it be?

"Yes?" I prompted him.

"Is there something between you and Ana? I need to know." He sounded desperate for an answer. Just not the answer I was going to give him. "More than being step-family?" I was going to make him suffer.

"Anastasia is perfect in every way. She makes me laugh. She irritates me at times. She is never afraid to call me out on my bullshit. She cares whether or not I am hurt. She cares more than any person has before in my life. She has the warmest heart." Most of this he knew. It was time for the things that would drive a dagger into his heart. "We belong to each other. In every sense of the word. She is mine. I am hers. We were placed on this Earth for each other. We were created for each other. There will never be anyone else. She wants me. Just as I want her. I know things about her. Things not even her mother knows." That was a lie. The rest was all true. "You never stood a chance. She went on that trip because she wanted to and because she wanted to see if a relationship with you could work. It was all a game."

"You are a fucking liar!" He yelled through the phone. Then the phone went dead. He hung up. I achieved my goal. He would sleep with the image of Ana and me together.

After all of this excitement, I went to bed. That night I would dream of her.
