"Wait" Austin shouted. I kept running but, Austin grabbed my wrist. " Thanks for your help! You really inspired me" I said. " No problem. I'm here if you need me" I hollered before walking towards my house. I knew in my gut this was a terrible idea. I walked as fast as I could home. I am good at making up lies in a matter of seconds. I walked by the park so, I decided to sit on the park bench. I stared at the sky for a while. I got bored and walked home. It was really dark and I could barley see. I turned the corner and stoped In my tracks. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around. " What are you doing alone out late?" a voice I reconized as Josh's. " I had a late practice" I murmured. " Let's walk together. I was just heading home" Josh suggested. " Ok" I agreed. We started walking but, I felt a wierd ankle pain. I tried to walk it off. I fell forward landing on my knees. " Are you ok?" Josh asked before nealing down. " I'm fine. My ankle has been having issues" I answered. " Here. Let me carry you" He stated. He picked me up bridal style and I giggled. He chuckled at my response. " I was just having a late night run" Josh said. " Sounds fun. I run sometimes" I added. " We should run sometime" He suggested. " I would love that" I said smiling. " So would I" Josh said. We had just made it to my house so, Josh put me down. " Where do you live?" I asked. " 5 Houses down actually" Josh replied. " You go rest that ankle. See you tomorrow" Josh added. He opened his arms for a hug. I pulled away after a few seconds so, I could get inside to rest. After, a last goodbye I went inside my house. I went upstairs to My room. I changed into a tank and pj shorts. I brushed my hair and climbed in bed.
