Unexpected Love

Chapter 13:

The teacher dismissed us to lunch, before I could think anymore. I went to my locker to put books back. I switched the books for my student ID. I turned to see Lauryn at her locker next to me. I felt angry. " Thanks for bringing me up so I could fall. Just because you have Kyle, doesn't mean you can say crap to me! Don't try to make me feel better. You probably knew this whole time! But, you just let me think something would work out but, it didn't. Are you happy now? You got your wish. What you wanted all along" I screamed for her to hear as tears poured out of my eyes. She then took me to the bathroom. " What are you talking about?" She asked confused. " Austin. He has a girlfriend. They have been dating for 4 months.They are going to the big party together" I said angrily. I was crying like a river. " I had no idea. I'm so sorry" Was all Lauryn said. She didn't have to say anymore since, I knew she was being honest. She pulled me in a hug. I cleaned up and went towards the lunchroom. " By the way, Carter and I got invited to the party but, you did too" She explained before handing me the paper. I sighed and headed towards the line for food. I grabbed lunch and paid. I headed towards the table to find I am the last one to sit down. I turned to see Austin at the end. I pulled out my phone and texted Bailey. I told her everything about Austin. She gave me a sympathetic look from across the table. Why isn't he sitting with his girlfriend? After I thought this, she came over to Austin. They talked and then she kissed Austin. He forcefully kissed back. I realized all the table was looking directly at me. I stared down at my food. I felt to sick to eat. I pushed my food over to Bailey since, I knew she would eat it. It was time to leave so, I said goodbye to everyone. Austin came up to me." What class do you have next?" He asked. " Civics" I replied. " Me too. Can you help me with a huge favor?" He pleadingly asked. " Of course! " I chirped. " Would you help me plan an amazing evening with my girlfriend?" He asked smiling. I felt myself frown. I quickly smiled and said " Sure. I can meet with you after school" I suggested. I could at least use a close friend. " Thanks! That would be great! Come with me to my house after school?" He asked. I nodded in aproval.
