Unexpected Love

Chapter 16:

I opened the note to read it. " I hate you." Was all it said. It was signed with Josh's signature. I dropped the paper in shock. First Austin and now Josh!!! See this is exactly why I don't fall for boys! They tear me apart. They make you feel so good inside but, later break your heart. I don't trust guys! They are such jerks. I always am the one that gets picked on. Why me!?!? Every boy hurts me. Everyone else gets a happy ending but, me! That's why non of them understand. They tell me to give chances. I'm sick of this game of love! Its a game since, there are so many players. I started sobbing for the like 5th time today. I went to the restroom and slunk down against the wall. I put my head in my hands. The only reason I invited the boys to Italy was for My BFF's. I went back to the locker for books to my last core class. I grabbed my science books and headed out. I have this class with Bailey! I took the note and shoved it in my back pocket. I walked in science class and sat next to Bailey. I angrily shoved the note on her desk. She read it and started laughing. " Mar. This isn't Josh's hand writing. I have him in math. Its scribbled. He has neat hand writing. Someone else wrote it. They would do that so, you can't tell who's writing it is. Josh is way too nice" She explained. I thought about What she said. It made sense. I sighed in relief. I still have a chance. The class went by quickly. In fact, the last few classes went by fast. I walked to my locker to grab my stuff at the end of the day. I remembered that I was going home with Austin. I walked to the parking lot. I saw Austin by his car. I ran up to him. He opened his arms for a hug. I jumped into him. He stumbled back and I laughed. " Whoa, slow down" He chuckled. I was just in a good mood because of the note thing. He opened the passanger door and I slid in. He then went in the car to sit in the drivers seat. He started driving to his house. The radio happened to be playing " Suit and Tie". " We leave for Italy in 4 days" Austin stated. " Ya" I said responding. We pulled up into his driveway. He came around to open my door and help me out. We opened the door to go inside his house. He took me upstairs to his bedroom. " So, where to begin" I said. " The venue" He replied. " Every girl likes a picnic in the park" I suggested. " Great idea" He said before sitting on the floor. I did the same. " What should it be like" He added. " You can show me" He acknowledged. " So you are both sitting close to each other" I said and Austin moved close to me. He put one arm around me. " The wind is blowing In your face. You lean in... Everything is amazing" I remarked. Austin leaned in a little closer. Our gazes met and he leaned in. He was staring at my lips. He was about to kiss me but, I stopped him by standing up. " I better get going. I forgot I have gym. I'm sorry." I said. " Bring her flowers. Have a nice 3 course picnic." I said before I ran down the stairs.
