Alex's POV
I heard my alarm dragging me out of a great dream I was having wanting to truly ignore it. Dragged my feet over to the bathroom getting showered as quickly as possible hopping into my car and driving over to the station

"Morning" smiled Maya as she parked next to me

"Morning captain" I smiled as I saw Carina coming out of the car too "hey Car"

"Hey Bella" smiled Carina as she came over "thought we were early"

"Well your sister is one of the only ones to actually arrive on time" smiled Maya and I chuckled

"Clinic day?" I asked confused as I didn't quite get why Carina was around

"Not quite" said Maya

"I'm just here to get some stuff" said Carina and I nodded

"Alex can you get the coffee machine started?" Asked Maya and I nodded

"Yeah sure" I said walking over to the beanery

Maya's POV
Soon enough everyone was around having coffee and organizing the day

"Miller Herrera engine 1" I said "Hughes Montgomery engine 2"

"Sounds like we're stuck together" said Gibson as he walked pass Alex

"Unfortunately Deluca that's true" I said "Gibson Deluca aid car" I chuckled

"Cool" she smiled

"You're glad she's new and she likes you still" I said

"Everyone loves me" he said

"Give her a few weeks" said Vic "she'll understand then"

"Fine I'll go check the hoses" said Jack as he walked away

Alex's POV
"Gym?" Asked Andy as she walked pass me and I nodded

"Sure" I said as we walked over getting into our gym clothes

"What's the deal with Gibson?" I asked being a bit lost about what had happened in the beanery

She chuckled as she handed me the bar over "I mean he is a good guy gotta say"

"Okay..." I smiled

"He's also my ex" she said

"Oh" I said surprised as she spotted me

"We were young, before I was even married" she said

"Damn you are married?" I asked and she shrugged

"Was?" She said

"Ah alright" I said not wanting to ask just in case

"So Jack" she said "good guy yeah" she nodded

"Looks like" I said

"You into him?" She asked mischievously

I chuckled and shook my head "please Andy I've crossed 4 words with him"

"Nothing interesting in Seattle?" She asked "I get we're not as fun as Chicago" she said "but there's gotta be something round here for you"

"I guess just focusing on work right now" I said

"Sounds like a plan" she said as we switched spots "boring yet respectable plan"

"Shush" I said "step at a time I guess"

*Engine 19, Aid car 19 first avenue*

"And there we go" said Andy as we jogged out of the gym over to the barn
