Alex's POV

I made my way over to the hospital since I had agreed on coffee with Carina knowing she had a tough scheduele and clinic afternoon meaning we couldn't really talk.

I walked through the hallways trying to locate her, soon enough getting lost

"fire department" I heard a voice saying as I turned around to see Amelia standing

"Amelia" I said

"nice shirt" she said reffering to my station shirt

"thanks" I smiled "how you've been?" I asked not quite sure on what I should say

"been alright" she nodded "saw you at the bar the other night" she said and I froze "with the whole Station" she said and I nodded "nice seeing you've made friends"

"yeah they're really great" I said not being quite sure were this was heading over to

"so" she smiled "uh see you around Deluca" she said as she walked past me

That was...weird somehow

"finally!" I heard Jo coming over "finally"

"shh" I said "keep it down"

"I need to know" she said "everything about it"

"there's not much to know" I said

"you two left together and you can't deny it cause A. I saw you and B. I covered for you with all your station Friends" she said

"how did you..." I asked surprised

"you're Carina's sister I couldn't lose you on your first night out, of course I made sure you were leaving with him" she said

"Jo Wilson you're a hell of a Woman" I said and she slightly pushed me "and damn it that are affraid of Carina are you?" I asked

"shut it" she said

"thanks though" I said "really"

"no worries" she smiled "so..."

"so" I said "we had breakfast? and sort of a movie"

"what?!" she almost yelled as I shushed her down "sorry sorry" she said "as in together?"

"well yes and no" I said "we're waiting, we won't rush it." I said "until we feel like it's the right time" I said and she nodded

"sounds reasonable" she said

"I guess?" I asked as Carina came over

"hey!" she said as she hugged me "been looking around for you" she said

"same" I smiled back

"well, I need to go let Link know I'll take care of dinner" said Jo "hope you can catch up" she said as she winked at me

"coffee?" asked Carina and I nodded

Carina's POV

I knew Aless and she looked a tiny bit weird, more than usual

"are you alright?" I asked as we were having coffee down at the cafeteria

"what do you mean?" she asked

"I don't know" I said "you look weird, as in worried"

"no no" she said "bit stressed but I'm alright" she nodded

"about something in particular?" I asked and she shook her head

"I guess just everything being new" she said and I nodded
