Maya's POV
"Morning" I smiled as I placed a kiss on carinas cheek

"No" she mumbled as she rubbed her eyes

"Come on" I smiled as I placed another kiss on her bare shoulder "you'll be late for work"

"I don't care" she mumbled as she tried to hide her face in my chest

"Dr. Deluca you'll be late" I teased as I shook her slightly

"Argh fine" she said as she slowly opened her eyes again "Morning bambina" she smiled

"Morning" I smiled back "breakfast?"

We had breakfast together and I made my way over to the station after Carina left to the hospital

"Hey" said Andy as she parked next to me

"Hey" I smiled as I grabbed my bag from the back

"So new recruit?" She asked and I nodded

"She'll be over in like an hour" I said

"Cool" she said "any idea about her?

"Uh she's young" I said "that's all I know, and her last name is Taylor"

"No name?" She asked and I chuckled

"She'll be over in like an hour" I said "you'll get to absorb information from her then" 

"Cool" she smiled as we both walked into the kitchen

"Morning" I said as I poured coffee

"Is she here yet?" Asked Travis

"Nope" I said "she'll be in an hour and I would like for this place to look nice and clean"

"So cleaning day?" Asked Andy and I nodded

After an hour or so I heard a knock at my door

"Hey come in" I said as I stood up and I young woman came in. Gotta say she has a familiar face, and definitely a very attractive woman

"Captain Bishop?" She asked and I nodded as I shook her hand

"Alex Taylor" she said "it's an honor to meet you ma'am "

"Take a sit please" I smiled "so welcome in, nice to finally put a face to the name"

"Same here" she said "I've been thrilled to come"

"So, you have been working at station 43?" I asked and she nodded

"Why the change?" I asked

"Needed a change" she said "change of scenery"

"And you're oh 24 years old?" I asked

"Young. I know" she smiled as she nodded

After introducing her to everyone and showing her around I left to my office as Andy knocked in

"I didn't know they hired a model" she laughed as she walked in "we're gonna have to put Gibson on a leash"

I chuckled as I nodded "well I have a girlfriend but yeah gotta admit to that"

Carina's POV
"Hey" said Bailey as she came over

"Bailey" I smiled "nice to see you."

"How's everything going?" She asked

"Uh so far so good" I said "heading over to the station now"
