Alex's POV

I knew I was very much drunk and everyone around me was too.

"fine you were right, firefighters are fun" said Jo as she was drunk herself too

"I can't screw this up" I said holding my head as I ordered another drink for both me and Jo

"screw what?" she asked as I handed her a glass over gesturing to Jack as he was drunkly laughing "Oh" she said "well I think you should stop drinking" she said as I took another sip "you know, in order to avoid any screwing"

"we're way past that line" I said as I kept on sipping "I'm the new one, I can't"

"I think you need to shut up cause he is coming this way" she said and I tried pulling a sober face as he walked over to where we were standing

"and your sister and the Captain left" he said as he ordered a drink and I nodded "we know who is the last Italian standing" he said as I felt Jo pinching my arm as she walked away leaving the two of us talking

"I..." I drunkly said

"what?" he chuckled

"just" I said "thanks for everything this couple days, you've all been really great"

"is that sober or drunk Alex talking?" he asked chuckling as he placed his drink down

"both?" I chuckled as I placed my drink down too "but mostly sober" I said "I'm really thankful to you and to everyone"

"I guess I'm glad I was able to help, somehow" He shrugged

"you did" I smiled "you are really amazing" I said trying to grab my drink meeting his hand over the bar as I felt how he grabbed my hand too

"still sober you speaking?" he chuckled and I nodded

"still sober me" I said as I got closer "It takes more than a couple drinks to get drunk me speaking" I said knowing I was totally lying since I was completly drunk right now

"I guess I'll have to see to believe Chicago" he smiled softly as he came closer "cause you look quite drunk to me"

"Gibson you've got no idea" I said getting closer too until I could also smell the booze in his mouth "but also" I said "we might have like a thousand different eyes laying on us right now"

"and that could be a bad idea" he chuckled and I nodded as we both stoop up discretly walking out of the bar and as soon as we were round the corner neither one of us could wait a single seconds till our lips met

"you know we might both be regretting this in the morning" he said as we pulled apart for a seconds

"I know" I said as we went back to kissing eachother deeply and his phone buzzed

"damn it" he said as we pulled away and he unlocked it

"everything okay?" I asked

"they're about to leave" he chuckled "meaning..." he tried

"meaning we need to leave too" I said and he nodded "come on" I said grabbing his hand

Soon enough we made it over to my place, making out as I opened the door and we fell over to the couch in the living room

"you know we're both drunk" I said

"I know" he nodded as I undid the buttons on his shirt "bad decisions happen when drunk" he said and I nodded as he pulled off my top

"so true" I said as I unbuckled his belt "booze is definently bad" I said

"no more drinking" he said and I nodded as he unbuckled my bra
