Alex's POV
"Hey" smiled Jo as she walked out of her room and into the living room

"Buona giornata" I smiled as I was making breakfast

"Well look who is looking better" she said as she grabbed some coffee "you look happy"

"I'm a happy person" I shrugged

"Come on tell me the truth" she said

"What?" I chuckled

"Jack that good?" She smiled and I playfully hit her

"Enough" I said "I'm just glad you know back to work, finally everything seems to settle"

"I'm glad you know" she said "seeing you this way"

"I guess so?" I chuckled

"It's your birthday soon..." she said

"Just another day Jo" I said

"No it's not" she said "it's huge. You turning 25 that's a big deal"

"Right..." I said

"Great moment for you and Jack to come out as a couple..." she said

"Jo" I said

"You two are dating already" she said "so what's the deal with coming out to everyone about it"

"Well, the fact that we're together inside the same station, he's Andy's and mayas ex and well the fact that my sister basically hates him" I said

"Yes true, there are many things a little complex there" she said "but you two hiding around im pretty sure that's a little bit harder"

"Not so sure about that" I said

"Alex!" She said as I walked into my room

"Gotta get showered" I said walking into my bathroom and into the shower thinking about what she was saying. She was right, hiding around was not a solution and we both wanted to come out about it to everyone. Yet we knew it could bring up some problems

"Okay how do you want me to lie to your sister every day" said Jo as she walked in

"Jo I'm in the shower!" I said as I shampooed my hair

"I've seen all that already" she said sitting on the counter "your sister will suspect soon"

"I know that" I said as I rinsed off the shampoo "and I will tell her, soon enough"

"Will you?" She asked

"Not right now maybe" I said

"When then?" She said

"I don't know Jo" I sighed "someday" I said grabbing my towel as I walked out of the shower "can I get changed now? With no guests"

"Fine" she said as she walked out of my bathroom

Carina's POV
I walked into the station given it was clinic day and I volunteered to get everything prepared and ready for the day

"Hey Carina!" Smiled Andy as she came over hugging me

"Hey" I smiled "where's everyone?" I asked

"Your sister out on a call, your wife upstairs" she said and I looked at her

"Aid car call no fire" she clarified and I nodded

"Thanks" I smiled "I'll go see Maya and be back to get everything ready"

"Great" she smiled

I walked upstairs into mayas office as she was off the phone

"Hey" she smiled "I was just about to call you"
