CHAPTER 32

               After some uncomfortable minutes as they waited for the twins to leave and then not knowing who is going to talk or speak first, Dennis decided to take the lead. 
  " You look so beautiful today, I like your dress" He complimented Chelsea. 
   " Thank you" Chelsea replied blushing. 
  " So how have you been?" He asked Chelsea. 
  " I have been fine and you?" Chelsea replied without looking at him, feeling too shy. 
   " I have been okay" He replied. 
   " That's good to know, after the stunt, or should I say the stunts you pull on Saturday"Chelsea said bitterly. 
  " I thought we have settled that already and I told you I am very sorry. And with the mind that you have forgiven me and just couldn't wait to see, so I had to come and look for you here today" He told her, " But you saw me just two days ago"Chelsea said to him. 
  " Well two days is too long not to hear from.someone you care for and even love for that matter" He told her. 
   " Well, as you can see I am okay. Now you can go, bye" She told him, as she attempted to leave. 
  " Come on, don't leave baby" Dennis apologized as he held her hands, stopping her from leaving. 
  " Let go of my hands and who gave you permission yo call me baby" She said as she push his hands off hers. 
   " Anything wrong?" Someone asked from behind them and on turning around , Chelsea saw it was a fellow teacher and if they weren't careful of this particular teacher fond out what was going on, it wouldn't end here; their discussion will get to the teachers staff room, " Oh nothing is wrong" She told the lady. 
  " Okay" the lady said and move on, but look back a little , not sure that what was going on was nothing. 
   " I have told you to stop touching me any how you like or every time you feel like it, without my permission" She warned him, " And atop calling me endearing names, we are not there yet and I'm not your wife, for you to call me baby" She told him. 
  " I Don't get it, why are you so hostile to me, anything I do is wrong. Are we not courting or what ?" Dennis asked angrily, getting annoyed by her behaviour. 
  " Not yet, as at now we are just friends" She told him, " And I'm hostile as you say, because you always do.what I don't like, especially what I specifically say I don't like" She added. 
   " For that I'm sorry" He apologized, " But I said I don't want to be friends with you" Dennis said to her. 
  " But you agreed to it" She told him 
  " Well, I had no choice. It is either that or nothing and I'm really serious with my intention to get married to you" He informs her. 
  " Well since what you did on Saturday , I don't think you are that serious"She said to him, " If not you wouldn't do things that hurts me or things that are against my believe" She told him.  
  "But you have forgiven me already"He said. 
   "Yes, I have. But I need space" She replied. 
  " Time Chelsea, is what I don't have time to spare chasing after you all through out my life" He told. 
  " Well you just have to create time"She told him. 
   " Well, if you wait too long , you might miss a golden opportunity that is coming your way and a rare gem at that" He advised her. 
 " I know" She agreed. 
 " Okay, then I will be on my way 
 But before that can I drop you home after school today?" He asked. 
  " Okay" She agreed reluctantly as the the fight in her has gone. And seeing that she has offense him and even pushed him too far to the extent he told her, he can't wait for her with all seriousness. 
   " Okay, thanks. Bye see you in the afternoon" He bid her happily and can't wait till he sees her in the afternoon. Filled with hope, since she didn't reject his offer to drive her home. 
 " Bye" She told him as he got inside his car. 
  " By the way , I stand by my compliment earlier. You look beautiful and ravishing today" He told her with a grin and drove off, which left her blushing.
