CHAPTER 57

  " Take this , as a promise ring for now from me" He told her, while he stretched out the flower ring , he made not quite long from the fresh flowers on their table. 

  " Promise of what?" She asked, eyeing the ring in shock, " When did you have time to do that, I mean this flower ring?" She asked surprised. 

  "Promise to try my best to give all you want and to fight for us to happen and to love you forever" He said, " I made it when you turned around, when you  pretended to be angry with me. I know that your anger was just a facade and you thought I didn't know. Like you said nothing gets by my notice. And you can't, it isn't even possible for you to be angry at someone, so cute as me" He told her, blinking his eye and giving her a wink playfully 

  " You are so full of yourself, aren't you?" She commented and asked lightheartedly. 

  " Of course not, I never" He denies it will a smug look on his face. 

" If you say so" She told him. 

 " I'm glad you agree with me on that" He replied. 

 " Eww , you are so sweet" She said in eww of him," But I would have like a gold or diamond ring" She joked starring at the flower ring in his hands, which was stretched out to her. 

 " Shut up, I know you are not that superficial from the way you act. But you are sweet, soft and all sugary in the inside and outside" He said to her  as he he playfully forcefully put the flower ring on her promise ring fingers( Also know as the engagement fingers), " Don't have you ever take it off, you  belong to me , now for life" He bosted to her, with so much pride and happiness "You will even accept a ring made with metal, that's how understanding and loving you are. But don't worry I will get you a diamond ring if you want" He told her. 

  " If that makes you happy and helps you sleep at night"   She told him jokily , pretending to be very composed and trying to throw  compulsion up his, to get his reaction,which didn't work because he was always composed, in control unlike her and you can't easily rill him up, even though he was the emotional one, between them, because he has his emotion under control and his EQ( Emotional quality is in always on check, even his IQ too. But her IQ might be high and great, but Her EQ isn't.

    Although she doesn't want to reject him or his request and hurt him and his feelings. Most time, especially during heartbreak, when you are feeling let down by your loved ones and those you cared about. She decided to play along with him and if there ever comes a day, that they have to let each other down, she is going to let him down slowly, even if he let's her down harshly. Which from his behavior he wouldn't do such a thing to hurt her. If ever he did, it will be mistakily or accidentally, and not on purpose. She prays that day wouldn't' ever come, when they will part ways due to disagreement and clash of characters or expectations. That they where unable to live up to each others expectation. She thinks it would be great and wonderful for both of then to be finally happy , for ones in their life or through out their remaining days on earth.

     She isn't' sure she would be good enough for him, but hopes and pray he and his love , makes her fill more than enough, and by the grace of God be able to reciprocate his feeling of love. Not that she believes in love at first sight, but believe however and whenever and wherever loves happens it  doesn't make it less genuine , so she is going to give him a benefit of a doubt. To prove his love is real and for her to  actually be truly and genuinely in love with him. He was totally loveable and doesn't care what others in his past, present or future thought or thinks about it. It has been long time, that any male , that isn't her brothers and dad to show her attention. Most times the attention they gave to her , was to ward off unsuspecting boys or men who were interested in her.

They were so protective of her that she felt hurt and thought they were only looking at her as a fragile glass that can break or shattered at any moment. Although they, her mum and bestie was her number one cheerleaders and fans. And she loves them immensely, "Although, I was joking. But this is what we Nigerians call see finish" She said with a laugh confidently, while on the inside she was shaking with joy and feeling self aware and  self councious,  supreessing the huge to giggle and burst into a happy fits of laughter, while blushing tomatoes red from her head to the sol of her feet's.

" I will tied you with juju( Fetish love charm)" He joked.

" Juju wouldn't work on me, in Jesus name, Amen"She rebuked him., thinking that he was actually serious and means it," And I thought you were a Christian" She accused him, of giving her false believe.

" I'm and was joking" He told her uncomfortably, that she would think or believe he would do such a thing to her, especially to her of all people. It was a very bad thing to do to your fellow human being , no matter how obsessed you are with the person

His parents Didn't do that, or follow that way or road, during their time. So also he wouldn't do that. He had seen people who were trap with Charms. Obsession was a deadly disease killing the victim and the guilty party, from the inside to outside.

"That's a costly joke" She

"Sorry, I do see you in my dreams" He confessed, romantically

"People see people because that's what they want you see or because they have been thinking of the person way too much",She told him

" Babe, You might right about me

thinking about you all the time, I can't seem to stop" He agreed with her second opinion, about why he was seeing her in his dream.

"Please don't make me an Idol in you heart, because it against God' s word . Wait for God's time, If we will work what will be, will be" She Advised him

"I pray so" He agreed

   " Don't worry you haven't see all of me or seen me finish" He jokes , as both of them laughed. 

  "  Chelsea actually does really like you.  But it is too bad you and Chelsea didn't meet first before she met Dennis. If not your romantic hearts meeting wil be epic and have a great collusion, where your two hearts collide and merges" She stated. 

    " Are you pushing your friend on me now?" He asked outrage, by the lack of feeling in what she just said. 

" No, of course not, I will never say that" She told him, "And Dennis is your friend!" She Exclaimed herself. 

  " You better not be. And thank God you know he is my friend , my best friend at that. And me snatching and stealing my best friends babe and love is totally wrong and actually against the bro code" He told her. 

  " I'm sorry for saying such a heartless and thoughtless thing to you and about my own beat friend." She apologized , " I'm O forgiven?" She asked with an apologetic and sorrowful eyes. 

   " You are forgiven, but don't say that again. It was offensive of you to say that" He replied. 

  " Thanks for your forgiveness" She replied. 

  " You are welcome" He said to her.
