'Where are you going?' Leah mumbles sleepily as she reaches out to grab hold of Lia's hand as she climbs out of bed.
'Just the toilet... Go back to sleep, love. I won't be long.' Lia says softly. Leaning down, she presses a kiss to the top of the blonde's head and pulls the covers over her before making her way to the bathroom. Her heart pounds as she reaches into the bathroom cabinet and pulls the Clearblue box out. Pulling the foil wrapper out of the box, she quietly opens it and follows the instructions to take the test. Re-placing the blue cap on the test, she slides it back into the foil wrapper and places it on the edge of the sink before flushing the toilet and washing her hands. Taking a deep breath, she leaves the test on the sink and makes her way back through to the bedroom where she finds Leah lying on her back staring up at the ceiling with a small smile on her face.
'Did you take a test?' Leah asks quietly.
'I did... I haven't looked at the results. I just- I'm sorry. Part of me wanted to just get it over and done with then I could tell you and you wouldn't be getting your hopes up for the three minutes we need to wait for the results.' Lia admits biting her bottom lip as Leah pushes herself into a sitting position and adjusts the pillows behind her.
'You don't need to apologise, I get it... Why haven't you looked at the results?' Leah asks patting the side of the bed and smiling as Lia immediately makes her way over to sit down.
'When it came down to it, I didn't want to look without you... Imagine if this was the time it was different and I took that experience away from you, from us.' Lia replies shaking her head as she intertwines her fingers with the blonde's.
'How long have we got left? Will we go have a look?' Leah asks watching the brunette bite her bottom lip.
'Yeah...' Lia replies quietly. Getting up from the bed, she passes Leah her crutches and watches as the blonde lifts herself into a standing position and gets her balance. Together they make their way through to the bathroom where Lia takes a shaky breath and lifts the test into her hand.
'Hey, look at me...' Leah says softly as she sits down on the edge of the bathtub and uses one hand to reach for Lia's.
'Whatever happens, whatever this test says we're going to be okay... We'll just keep putting one foot in front of the other and we'll decide what our next steps are, yeah?' Leah says watching the brunette nod her head.
'I know. We've got each other and that's more than enough.' Lia replies. She gently squeezes Leah's hand before taking a deep breath and pulling the test out of the foil packet.
'No...' She almost whispers, tears filling her eyes as she stares down at the test in her hand.
'I'm sorry, love.' Leah says softly.
'No I uh- It's positive, Le.' Lia says, tears streaming down her cheeks as she glances up at the blonde.
'What? What do you mean?' Leah asks, immediately using her crutches to help herself into a standing position and making her way over to the blonde.
'It worked... I'm pregnant. We're having a baby.' Lia replies laughing slightly as she turns the test to face Leah.
'We're having a baby.' Leah says, tears beginning to stream down her own cheeks as she takes in the positive result.
'We're having a baby.' Lia repeats.

'I can't believe it.' Leah says shaking her head as she picks up one of the pregnancy tests, they've done five more since the first one, and holds it out in front of her.
'I felt different... I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was, but something felt different. I felt sicky the other day but I just thought surely not, surely not this early.' Lia admits as she sits down next to the blonde and drapes her arm over her shoulders.
'You did? Why didn't you say anything?' Leah asks leaning back into the blonde's embrace.
'I didn't want to get your hopes up in case it was just nothing...' Lia replies shrugging her shoulders as she begins to run her fingers through Leah's hair.
'We're having a baby, love.' Leah says softly as she tilts her head to look at Lia. '
We certainly are.' Lia replies smiling.
'This is definitely going to be the hardest secret to keep.' Leah says smiling as Lia cuddles into her side.
'When are you wanting to tell our families? Do you want to wait until the twelve-week mark? Until we're out of the first trimester?' Lia asks.
'I don't know. I feel like if anything was to go wrong then we'd need our families and if you were to get any major symptoms then my mum is going to pick up on it... If it makes you more comfortable though to wait until we're out of the first trimester then I am more than happy to do that as well.' Leah replies and Lia nods her head.
'I think telling our families before the second trimester would probably be a good thing, wouldn't it? It would give us that sort of support network that we might need, especially with you being injured if anything happens or if I have any intense symptoms.' Lia says.
'Everyone is going to be so surprised.' Leah replies smiling as she kisses the side of Lia's head.

'Hello in there, little one...' Leah says softly, her hand resting on Lia's stomach as they lie in bed with some random movie playing in the background.
'I'm so, so glad you decided to stick around but I need you to hang on in there, okay? You need to just make yourself nice and cosy because we've still got a long eight months to go before we can have you in our arms, okay?' Leah continues, her thumb brushing lightly across the skin where her t-shirt has risen.
'This feels so strange.' Lia almost whispers shaking her head.
'Oh sorry. Do you want me to stop?' Leah asks lifting her hand and glancing at the brunette.
'No, no... I didn't mean you. I just- I can't believe I'm actually pregnant, Le.' Lia admits reaching for Leah's hand and placing it back on her stomach. They lie in silence for a few minutes, only the sound of the tv playing in the background as Leah's hand continues to brush against Lia's stomach.
'You're going to be pregnant on our cruise... Will that be too early for you to have a proper bump?' Leah asks and Lia shrugs her shoulders.
'I think everybody's bump grows differently so I might but I might not. Really just depends on how quickly my body decides to grow.' Lia replies.
'I can't wait to watch our baby grow in there.' Leah almost while spers causing Lia to smile as she wraps her arm around the blonde.
'This still doesn't feel real.' Lia admits shaking her head.
'I love you.' Leah says.
'I love you too.' Lia replies smiling.
