'Two pink lines are made for growing up and I was made for you, yeah, I was made for you. Like a ship without a sea, or a song without a melody... I don't know where I'd be or what I'd do, cause I was made for you.'

Leaning against the doorframe, Lia can't help but smile slightly as she watches Leah swaying back and forth with Matteo cradled in her arms as she faces the window where the sun is dimly lighting the nursery through a small gap in the curtains. It's a little after 7am and she's not entirely sure just how long her fiancée has been awake. Clearing her throat, she watches the blonde turn around with a smile on her face as she adjusts Matteo until the newborn is resting against her chest.

'Oh look, it's mama.' Leah says softly. Making her way into the nursery, Lia smiles as she feels Leah's free arm wrap around her as the blonde continues to sway them slightly and Lia drops her head to rest on Leah's shoulder.

'Tiny shoes are made for tiny feet. My two arms are made for where you sleep. Sky was made for the moon and stars. You were made to steal my heart, and I was made for you, yeah, I was made for you.'

'I love your voice.' Lia says smiling as she feels the blonde press a kiss to the top of her head.

'I love even more hearing you sing to our babies.' Lia adds causing Leah to smile.

'I love that I get to sing to our babies.' Leah replies, her arm tightening around Lia as she leans down and kisses the top of Matteo's head.

'What time is it?' Leah asks softly.

'Seven-ish... Still early. If he's settled, why don't you come back to bed for a bit? Roo is still fast asleep.' Lia suggests smiling as Leah nods her head.

'Sounds like a good idea, love... Let's go then.' Leah says.

'Have you had Coco out yet?' Lia asks softly as she makes her way into the kitchen where Leah is making them both a cup of tea.

'Not yet. I'm going to take her for a walk after I've drank this. She's been out into the garden so she's fine just now.' Leah replies smiling.

'I was thinking the cubs and I could come with you?' Lia suggests.

'Yeah? Are you sure you're feeling up to that? I don't want you to rush into it if you're not ready yet?' Leah asks.

'Mm-hmm... I mean I don't imagine I'll be able to walk very far or very fast but I'd like to get some fresh air and just start to get back some form of normality.' Lia replies causing the blonde to smile.

'We don't have to walk far or fast... We'll take it at your speed.' Leah says as she turns to face her partner. It's been a little over a week since the babies were born and slowly but steadily Lia is beginning to feel better; her mobility has gotten better and her pain is lessening with each day that passes but she definitely is not 100% just yet.

'Maybe in a few days, if the walk goes okay, we could arrange with Jonas to take rhe cubs in to training so the rest of the girls can meet them?' Lia suggests.

'Yeah, let's just see how we get on today... I don't want you doing too much and ending up sore or that.' Leah says softly.

'I know. I'm still taking it easy and I'm not focusing too much on the fact that I feel relatively good considering... I've not had any painkillers today.' Lia admits glancing at the blonde who smiles.

'Is that a good idea?' Leah asks.

'Doctor said I only had to take them when I felt I needed them and I don't feel like I need them anymore, Le.' Lia replies as Leah turns around and wraps her arms around Lia.
