Her arms wrap around the blonde in front of her as they stand in the doorway. Vivianne slightly behind them carrying a bag of lunch that they'd picked up on the way.

'I thought you'd already packed the hospital bag?' Beth says and Leah nods her head as she moves to hug Vivianne.

'We have but you know what Lia's like, her anxiety is just a little all over the place and we want to make sure we have everything we need.' Leah replies.

'How's she doing? We've missed you at training.' Vivianne asks and Leah nods her head.

'She's okay, uncomfortable but okay... I've just wanted to be near her.' Leah replies.

'Understandable.' Vivianne says softly.

'She's just in here... Come on through.' Leah says as she makes her way through to the living room with Beth and Vivianne following her. She can't keep the smile off her face as she glances at Lia who is sitting on the sofa with their daughter curled up in her arms while their son sleeps peacefully in his moses basket.

'Oh my... Are you kidding me?' Beth gasps as she takes in the sight in front of her.

'Surprise...' Lia says softly.

'Oh wow. Congratulations.' Vivianne says as she wraps her arms around Leah who smiles and leans into the embrace.

'Thank you.' Leah replies smiling.

'Okay... Details, please. When did this all happen?' Beth asks smiling as Lia carefully passes her the baby in her arms.

'A few days ago. Lia's waters went during the night which is why I wasn't at the game because we were up at the hospital.' Leah explains as she lifts their son into her arms and passes him to Vivianne.

'Oh my... How are you doing?' Beth asks glancing at Lia.

'Okay... It's been rough, hasn't it?' Lia replies looking at Leah who nods her head and sits down on the sofa next to her.

'I ended up having an emergency section so was in hospital for a few extra days and it's just been a bit of a rough recovery.' Lia says.

'Oh you poor thing... When did you get home?' Vivianne asks.

'Yesterday. They wanted to make sure that I was okay moving about and stuff before they discharged.' Lia replies.

'Is this why you haven't been training with us?' Beth asks causing Leah to nod her head and smile.

'I've not been training at all. Jonas has known the entire time but we wanted to surprise you guys and just make sure everything was okay first so we asked him to keep it secret for a few days.' Leah replies.

'So introduce us then... Who's who?' Beth asks smiling as she glances at the couple.

'Well you are holding our little girl, Aurora Harian Williamson, and Viv you are holding our little boy Matteo Oskar Williamson.' Lia replies smiling.

'My goodness... How perfect.' Beth almost whispers.

'Hey...' Leah says unable to keep the smile off her face as she opens the front door with Matteo curled up against her chest causing the other woman to gasp.

'Oh don't... I'm gonna cry.' Alex replies, tears instantly filling her eyes as she shakes her head.

'Hey, Auntie Alex...' Leah almost whispers as she glances down at the newborn before looking back up at Alex. Stepping back slightly, she lets Alex make her way into the house and close the front door behind her.

'You know, Jess and I were talking this morning and she was like maybe the babies were here and I was like nah absolutely no way Leah would've been able to keep that quiet.' Alex says smiling at the newborn in her friend's arms.

'It was a rough ride and we just wanted to make sure we were home and settled before we told everyone... We got home yesterday though and we were more than ready for everyone to meet them.' Leah replies causing Alex to smile.

'Oh they're so little... Can I go wash my hands and have a snuggle?' Alex asks and Leah nods her head.

'Absolutely... We'll be in the living room.' Leah replies smiling. Making her way through to the living room, Leah smiles as she makes her way over to the moses basket where Aurora is sleeping peacefully. A few minutes pass before Alex makes her way through to the living room where Leah is still cradling the newborn.

'Hi...' Alex says softly.

'Ready for your snuggles?' Leah asks and Alex nods her head.

'Alex, meet Matteo... Matteo, meet your Auntie Alex.' Leah says softly as she passes the newborn over to Alex.

'Oh my goodness... Little tiny Matteo.' Alex whispers as she gazes down at the newborn in her arms.

'Where is Lia? How is she doing?' Alex asks glancing up at the blonde who smiles.

'She's upstairs having a lie down... It was rough, Al. Really rough actually' Leah admits letting out a sigh as they move to sit down on the sofa.

'What happened? Is she okay?' Alex asks.

'She's okay, well relatively okay but the birth ended in an emergency c-section... Her waters went during the night, early hours of the morning and she was getting quite regular contractions so we were like fantastic like this is going to go the way she wanted it to. We had been at the hospital for hours just working through the contractions, doing everything and anything to try ease her pain and make it more comfortable for her and then suddenly Lia just started bleeding so much.' Leah says shaking her head as tears fill her eyes.

'I just- I can't even remember what they said it was called, some sort of abruption but the next thing they were shoving scrubs at me and telling me to hurry and change because they were rushing down to theatre... It was so close to them just knocking her out to do the surgery but they were able to get the epidural in and working in time to do it that way. It was just a lot.' Leah admits reaching up to wipe her cheeks.

'Sounds beyond scary, Le. I can't even imagine what you both must have gone through.' Alex says softly as she uses her free hand to reach for her friend's.

'Mm...I thought I was going to lose her and I remember there was just a part of me that kept thinking we can't have gone through all of this just for me to lose her, I kept thinking I just can't do life without her.' Leah replies.

'Oh, Le...' Alex says softly.

'It's okay... It's fine because she's here and they're here and they're all okay.' Leah replies smiling slightly.

arsenal girlies:

Leah: Hey guys... Just wanted to let you all know that a few days ago Lia gave birth to our beautiful babies, Aurora Harian and Matteo Oskar. Sorry for keeping it quiet for so long but it was a rough road and we just wanted to give ourselves time to process everything that happened before we let everyone into our bubble. Lia and babies are doing okay and we're now home. Can't wait to introduce you guys all properly x

Alessia: Congratulations you guys! How exciting and what beautiful names xx

Lotte: Congratulations Le and Wally! Hope Wally's okay! Can't wait to meet these beautiful bubbas x

Leah: Thanks guys. Lia is doing alright. It was a rough birth while resulted in surgery so she's in some pain and is uncomfortable but she's happy to be home now and I'm happy to have her here where I can look after them all x

Locking her phone, she places it onto the bedside table before glancing at Lia who is fast asleep in bed beside her as both babies sleep peacefully in their bedside crib. It's been a long but lovely first full day home; it has been nice to see familiar faces and begin to introduce their babies to some of their best friends, a moment they feel like they've waited forever for.
