Note: Just wanted to quickly say this chapter takes place between weeks 5 and week 11 of pregnancy. I didn't want to do individual chapters for each one so I've lumped them all together but next chapter will be telling the whole team.

Five weeks pregnant.

'You ready for this?' Leah asks softly as they pull into her mum's driveway.

'Mm... I've got crazy butterflies.' Lia admits, a small smile on her face as she turns the engine off and glances over at the blonde.

'We don't have to tell anyone just yet if you're not ready... We can wait until we've had the scan next week.' Leah says reaching for her hand as the brunette shakes her head.

'No, I am ready... Jacob goes home tomorrow and it just feels right to be able to tell him in person instead of through a screen. I can't wait to see their reactions.' Lia replies gently squeezing the blonde's hand.

'Okay... Only if you are sure though?' Leah says smiling.

'I'm one hundred percent sure... Wait there and I'll get your crutches out the back.' Lia replies softly. She gets herself out of the car and grabs Leah's crutches before making her way round to the passenger side where she helps Leah out the car and to get settled on her crutches.

'Let's go then...' Leah says smiling. Together they make their way towards the front door which immediately opens to reveal Amanda standing with a huge smile on her face.

'Hello you two... What do we owe this pleasure?' Amanda asks softly as she hugs each of the women before stepping to the side and letting them into the house.

'We just thought we'd come for a visit before Jacob heads home tomorrow.' Leah replies smiling as they all make their way into the living room.

'He's just gone to meet some friends, said he'd be back in an hour or so.' Amanda says and Leah nods her head.

'That's fine then... Are you busy or?' Leah asks as she lowers herself onto the sofa.

'Nope, I don't have any plans so you're more than welcome to wait until Jacob gets home.' Amanda replies smiling. They chat for a few minutes until Leah slides a white envelope out of her bag and passes it over to Amanda.

'This is a little something for you... To say thank you for all your help over the past few weeks.' Leah says softly.

'You never need to thank me, bubba... I'm your mum, it's what I'm here for.' Amanda replies taking the envelope into her hand. She opens it and slowly pulls the card out from inside as she begins to read the front.

'Hello.

I haven't met you just yet, but I've heard you are the best. I think you'll really like me, can you try and guess?

I think I'll love your cuddles, with lots of kisses too. Are you excited to meet me? Because I can't wait to meet you.

See you soon...'

'I uh- What does this mean?' Amanda asks glancing up at the couple who smile.

'How does nana sound?' Leah asks softly watching tears immediately fill her mum's eyes.

'No?' Amanda says shaking her head.

'We're having a baby, mum... It's been a long, long process and at times I think we both wondered whether we'd ever actually get here but we tested last week and it was positive. They were all positive.' Leah explains as Amanda rushes over and wraps her arms around them both.

'This is the best news ever... I didn't even know you guys were wanting this just yet. I just- I'm so surprised.' Amanda says shaking her head.

'We've been trying for a while, haven't we?' Leah admits glancing at Lia who nods her head as tears stream down her cheeks.
