note: updates on beth&viv one will resume probably Monday. I just have a couple chapters of this I want to get out first. Next chapter is proper introductions to babies... As with the beth&viv one if anyone has anyone in particular they'd like to see meeting the babies do let me know in the comments. I have a few people written but love to incorporate your guys ideas and who you'd like to see.
Pulling into their driveway, Leah glances over at Lia who is sitting in the passenger seat, a pillow held against her lower abdomen as she bites her bottom lip. Reaching over, Leah rests her hand on the brunette's thigh as she watches her take a shaky breath.
'That was fucking awful...' Lia almost whispers as she rests her hand on top of the blonde's.
'I'm sorry.' Leah says softly.
'No, it's not your fault. I just- I'm looking forward to getting in the house and not leaving for a few days.' Lia admits.
'Wait right there and I'll come help you out, okay?' Leah says and the brunette nods her head. Getting out the car, Leah makes her way around to the passenger side and opens the door; she watches the brunette loosen her seatbelt before taking a deep breath and glancing round at the blonde.
'The thought of swinging my legs out of this car genuinely makes me want to cry.' Lia admits biting her bottom lip. They spent two days in the hospital before Lia was well enough to be discharged although she is sorer and more tender than she ever imagined she would be which has only been made worse by the car journey home.
'Take your time... Don't rush it; we've got plenty of time.' Leah says softly. Letting out a shaky breath, Lia slowly manages to get her legs out of the car as Leah reaches her hands out allowing the brunette to take hold of them. Gently she pulls herself into a standing position using the blonde to steady herself before Leah leans forward to press a kiss to her forehead.
'Why don't you make your way over to the front door? I will get the babies out and be right over.' Leah suggests as Lia nods her head and leans into the blonde's arms.
'Just give me a minute.' Lia says softly, her head resting on the blonde's shoulder as she feels Leah wrap her arms around her.
'No rush. Take all the time you need.' Leah replies softly.

'Comfortable?' Leah asks softly as she drapes a blanket over Lia's lower body as the brunette sits on the sofa.
'Mm-hmm...' Lia replies smiling slightly. They've been home for a little under half an hour giving time for Leah to settle the twins into their moses baskets and help Lia get changed into some fresh, comfy pyjamas.
'Do you need anything?' Leah asks.
'Just you to sit down with me.' Lia replies patting the space next to her. Smiling, Leah lifts the blanket and slides under it as she drapes her arm around Lia.
'I'm so glad to be home.' Lia admits.
'I bet you are... Place wasn't the same without you.' Leah says kissing the side of the brunette's head.
'What time is your mum bringing Coco home?' Lia asks, her head dropping to rest on the blonde's shoulder.
'She said about dinner time, give us some time to get settled in and rest.' Leah replies.
'It still doesn't fully feel real that they're here and they're ours, does it? I just keep looking at them and thinking how the fuck did I grow two little people so perfect.' Lia says shaking her head as she glances over at the moses baskets containing their newborns.
'They are perfect and you're perfect... I'm sure it'll feel a lot more real when we've got a few sleepless nights under our belts.' Leah replies smiling.
