The reception hall buzzed with the chatter of guests, the soft glow of lights casting a warm ambience over the mansion. Murtasim and Meerab stood side by side on the stage, greeting the guests as they arrived, their smiles bright and genuine. As Murtasim's hand slid around Meerab's waist, pulling her closer to his side, she felt a rush of warmth flood her cheeks. Her heart fluttered in her chest as she glanced up at him, her eyes wide with surprise.

"Murtasim, people are looking at us," she whispered, her voice tinged with a hint of nervousness.

He chuckled softly, the husky timbre of his voice sending shivers down her spine. "So what?" he replied, his gaze locked with hers. "I'm your husband, and I like you closer to me."

Meerab's cheeks flushed an even deeper shade of pink at his words, her heart skipping a beat at the intensity of his gaze. She hesitated for a moment, torn between the thrill of his closeness and the awareness of their public setting.

But then, with a playful glint in her eyes, she removed his hand from her waist and took a step back, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Stop," she uttered, her tone light and playful as she feigned resistance. Murtasim's eyes sparkled with amusement as he watched her, a smirk playing on his lips. He knew she was teasing him, but he couldn't resist the opportunity to flirt with his wife, even in front of their guests.

Leaning in closer, he whispered softly in her ear, smiling at the guests, his warm breath sending shivers down her spine. "I'll never stop, Moonbeam," he murmured, his voice filled with promise and desire.

"Do you know what I'm gonna do when they leave?" He asked, his voice getting inaudible with each word.

Meerab gulped. "What" She uttered , miling at Dadi

"I will throw your mobile out of the house tonight, and then-" He paused as he leaned again. "I will make you see a lot of stars without the sky, Moonbeam"

Meerab's heart skipped a beat at his words, her cheeks flushing with a mixture of excitement and anticipation. As they continued to greet their guests, she couldn't shake the feeling of his presence beside her, his touch igniting a fire within her that burned brighter with each passing moment.

She saw Dadi approaching them alongside Dua and pushed him back, "Dadi's coming, sshh"

Dadi's arrival on the stage brought a wave of emotion to the already vibrant atmosphere of the reception hall. As she approached Murtasim and Meerab, her arm adorned with a sling, her eyes sparkled with tears of joy. Despite her injury, she wore a radiant smile that lit up her face, her love and pride for her granddaughter shining through. The cameras clicked incessantly, capturing every moment of the heartfelt reunion between Dadi, Murtasim, and Meerab. The guests watched on with admiration, their applause filling the air as they witnessed the touching scene unfolding before them.

Dadi embraced Meerab tightly, her eyes brimming with tears of happiness. "Meerab meri beti, I'm so happy to see you both together like this," she whispered, her voice filled with emotion.

Meerab returned the embrace, her own eyes glistening with tears. "Dadi, I'm so glad you're here with us," she said, her voice choked with emotion. "I missed you so much."

"I asked ilyas to come too, but he said He had commitments" Dadi uttered as she turned towards Dua.

"Oh" Meerab nodded

"Achi baat hai nahi aya" Murtasim uttered abruptly , but only Meerab could hear

"Murtasim, it's so rude of you" Meerab said in a serious tone.

"I didn't find him nice, I don't know why" Murtasim rolled his eyes, "So you better stay away, Just because he saved dadi, it doesn't mean you're going to let him in"
