Haider's fingers trembled slightly as he dialed Akram's number, his heart pounding in his chest as he awaited the connection. After a few rings, Akram's voice crackled through the line, his tone sharp and impatient.

"What is it, Haider? I'm busy," Akram snapped, his irritation evident in his voice.

Haider cleared his throat, steeling himself for news they both had waited for. "I have some news, Akram," he began, his voice carefully neutral.

"Anwar sahab... he's had a heart attack. He's in the hospital."

"Bari jaldi hogya sab" Akram chuckled.

"Han"

There was a moment of stunned silence on the other end of the line, broken only by the sound of Akram's sharp intake of breath. "Is it serious?" Akram asked

"Yes, it's serious," Haider replied smoothly, his tone oozing with false concern. "The doctors aren't sure if he'll make it."

A low chuckle rumbled through the phone, sending a chill down Haider's spine. "Well, isn't that convenient," Akram murmured darkly. "Keep me updated on his condition, Haider. And make sure he doesn't pull through."

Haider's heart skipped a beat at Akram's chilling words, a shiver running down his spine at the coldness in his tone. "Of course, Akram," he replied hastily, his voice trembling slightly. "I'll let you know as soon as I have any news."

With that, he hung up the phone, his mind reeling with the weight of his deception. As he stared down at the device in his hand, a sense of unease settled over him, knowing that they had set a dangerous game. But it was a game he was willing to play if it meant achieving his ultimate goal of destroying Meerab and her family once and for all.

"I want to know the flight details to Islamabad or Lahore" He talked on the phone

"Moonbeam we are going back tomorrow, just get all the things together, okay?" He said in an urgent tone as he opened the door to the suite

"But what happened tell me, are you still angry? I was just teasing, I'm sorry" she said with vulnerability. His heart melted at her eyes

"No Meerab, Meri jaan I have to go back to Pakistan due to some urgent task in hand" He cleared

"What task?" She asked

"Its not about you, so you need not to worry yourself with this" His tone was laced with seriousness.

"You can tell, I'm your wife and I care for you" She said with a sad smile

Her doe shaped eyes had always been a weakness for him and he had been always proud of only having this one weakness but the time had come now, he was scared about this weakness. She was too precious for this world and he wanted to hide her somewhere, where no one would be able to hurt her, to make her cry, to make her feel worthless, to make her lesser, to make her feel not loved because she was to be cherished, was to be felt important and special, to always laugh, to rule him and his heart. His love for her was increasing day by day and he couldn't stop himself. Everyday she breathed and he felt like his heart was drowning more in her love. He couldn't bear to lose her, he knew it. It would kill him this time.

"Murtasim?" She called and the chain of thoughts broke

"Haan, Did you say something?" He asked

"No" She smiled as she closed the distance between then and rested her head on his chest. He was taken aback by the sudden contact as his hands remeanined in the air for a few seconds.

"Thankyou for everything" She murmured against his chest

"What happened?" He shook his head, shaking off his thoughts as he held her close, his arms tightening around her small frame
