"Murtasim," Meerab giggled, her voice light and musical, as he continued to murmur sweet nothings against her hair. Each word he whispered was filled with affection, the gentle vibration of his voice tickling her scalp and sending warm shivers down her spine.

Her laughter was like a melody, a sound so pure and joyous that it filled the room with life. Murtasim's heart swelled with every giggle that escaped her lips, a sound he had missed more than he could ever put into words. It was as if her laughter completed something deep within him, like a missing piece of music that made his world whole again. In the past weeks, the absence of her laughter had been like a silence that weighed on him heavily. It felt as though his ears had been deprived of their purpose, jobless in the most profound way. Every day without her laughter was like a day where something essential was missing, something that made everything brighter and more beautiful. Now that she was laughing again with him, he wanted to absorb every sound, every joyful fit, and every tiny giggle that slipped through her lips.

They had found their way.

He wanted to commit each sound to memory, to store it deep within his heart where he could revisit it whenever he needed to feel her presence. Murtasim held her closer, his arms tightening around her as he continued to nuzzle her hair, breathing in her scent and letting her laughter fill the empty spaces in his soul.

Each time she laughed, it was as if he was hearing it for the first time, and he cherished it, savoring every note. Her laughter wasn't just a sound to him; it was a lifeline, a beacon of light that guided him back to the happiness they shared. The more she laughed, the more he felt alive, connected to her in a way that transcended words. Had her laughter become more rich after the pregnancy? It felt more full, more complete.

"Murtasim, stop," she tried to say between giggles, but he could hear the happiness in her voice, the way her laughter bubbled up uncontrollably. He grinned against her hair, feeling her warmth, and knew he would never get enough of this sound.

"You're so soft" He murmured as he smiled

"It tickles me" She said

"I can't help it," he whispered, his voice filled with playful adoration. "Your laughter is like music, Meerab. I've missed it more than you know."

She turned her head slightly, her eyes meeting his with a soft, affectionate gaze. "And I've missed laughing like this with you."

"Your neck is so warm" he murmured as his lips closed on her skin

"And I fall in love with it everyday. Its too inviting" he continued

The night sky cast a warm, golden glow into the room, casting long shadows as it began to set. The air was filled with the lingering scent of dinner, but now the house was quiet, with only the sound of distant birds chirping outside. After Dua and Farid had left, they had found solace in the peacefulness that followed, retreating to their room to enjoy the quiet together.

They sat on the bed, Meerab comfortably nestled in Murtasim's lap, her back resting against his chest. His strong arms wrapped around her gently, his hands resting on her stomach with an almost protective tenderness. She leaned into him, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against her back, a comforting reminder of the love they shared. Murtasim smiled as he nuzzled her neck, placing soft, lingering kisses along her skin. Each kiss sent a shiver of warmth through Meerab, making her giggle softly.
