Erins POV:
This can't be real, is Jay Halstead really standing outside of my apartment complex in New York City?? Why is he not in Chicago. It broke my heart leaving chicago giving no ones a heads up except for hank, I didn't think I would ever have to see him again. I couldn't take watching those emerald colored eye get sad as I broke the news to him but looks like I have to anyways. Here he his standing at my doorstep kinda looking like a lost puppy. His eyes are sadder then sad yet they still have that sparkle that I've always loved and he still looks just as hot as he did 3 years ago if not better. "Hi Jay" I say and then there it is, that smile. That damn smile even if it's not a big full teeth smile his smile has always been my soft spot.
Jay POV: "Hi Jay" I hear and my heart skips a beat, I flash a small smile, "Hi Erin, been a while" I say and she flashes a small smile back at me. "Would you like to come in? We can catch up" she says and my hearts skips a beat again and then quickly changes to beating way to fast, if I didn't know any better I'd  think it was about to come flying right out of my chest. "Sure" I respond and follow her inside Im not entirely sure this actually happening right now, this all feels like a dream.
General POV:
Jay and Erin head inside and talk for hours just catching up, neither has brought up the topic of significant others because neither are sure if they really want to know. Finally Jay breaks the ice... "so... are you seeing anyone?" Jay asks.
