Chapter 11: stay away
*General POV*
"Thank you for letting me stay here till I got a place Hank I really appreciate it" Erin said as she threw her bag over her shoulder, all of her stuff had been moved into her new apartment courtesy of the intelligence guys and the decorating had been done curtsey of herself and Kim. Erin loved staying with Hank but she was glad to have her own place. About a week had passed since Antonio comment about Erin and Jay and she's thought about it every single day since. She tried to push the thought out of her head for tonight but it wasn't going too good. The whole unit (minus Hank because he tends to stay away from group activities that involve drinking) were coming over for beers tonight as Erin's way of thanking them for their help. Erin went home and opened the door to her brand new apartment and all she could do was smile.
*Erins POV*
Walking into my apartment back in Chicago with all of my favorite people here is something I never thought would happen. I thought when I left Chicago that it would be the last time I saw my favorite people. It took me a while to get over the fact that I'd never seen Adam or Kim or Kevin, Antonio, Al, Hank... Jay. The time was ticking down and they would be here any minute I was doing some last minute touch ups to the cleaning and decoration when I heard a knock at the door.
*General POV*
'6 o clock right on time' she though as Erin opened the door to see Adam Kevin and Kim on the other side of the door, "come on it guys beers in the fridge" Erin said and they all smile as they walk in. Just as she was about to shut the door Antonio showed up, Erin wasn't expecting Al because he's not the group activity thing just like Hank. "Hey beers in the fridge" Erin said and gave him a fist bump as he walked in. Erin checked her watch and then looked around the hallway, "he's coming don't worry" Antonio said knowing exactly who she's looking for. A few minutes passed before there was another knock at the door. Erin opened the door and let out a deep breath as she saw Jays smiling face on the other side. "Hey, beers in the fridge" Erin said trying to act as cool as she can as if she doesn't have butterflies completely filling her stomach.
