*general POV*
Jay and Erin arrived at the restaurant and once again Jay opened all the doors for Erin. They got seated and began looking at the menu, "looks like they've got some good food here" Jay says and Erin smiles "they do it's one of my favorite places" she says and they both set their menus down.
*Jays POV*
This all feels so right, being with Erin on a date or dinner I guess I don't really know if this is a date. I wanna ask her about my offer again but I don't wanna pressure her. I just hope she comes home with me, I miss her, Hank misses her, Antonio Kev Kim Adam we all miss her I think even Hailey misses her even though they only spent about 2 weeks working together. Chicago just doesn't feel right without her.
*Erins POV*
I feel alive for the first time in what seems like forever. I gotta say it's been about 3 years since I've felt like this and the common factor is Jay which makes my decision a lot tougher
*General POV*
"New York is nice, I see why you like it here" Jay says and Erin smiles and gently laughs "I never said I like it here" Erin responds and Jay tilts his head sideways in a way that says 'fair enough' without actually saying it. They finish dinner, pay the bill and just as they are about to stand up to leave Jay can't hold back anymore, "So have you thought anymore about my offer? Not to put any pressure or rush your decision" Jay says "I have, and I made a decision but it wasn't an easy one" Erin says and a look of worry crosses jays face "I have a life here that I've built for myself , it's been three years since I've been to Chicago..."
