General POV
Jay quickly walked out of the bullpen, out of the district to his truck and quickly drove home. After arriving home Jay booked the soonest flight he could and threw a couple pairs of clothes into a bag before racing off to the airport. Jay made it just and time and relaxed into his seat as the plane began taking off. For the duration of the plane ride Jay thought about what he would say. It's been three years now, what if she doesn't wanna see me Jay thought as he bounced his leg. The plane began descending and eventually unloading allowing the passengers off the plane. Jay threw his backpack around his should and stepped into the JFK airport in New York City. He had absolutely no clue where she was but he knew someone who might. Jay rented a car and began driving to the 16th precinct. If anyone knew where she was it would be captain Benson. Jay spent about a half hour to forty five minutes talking to Benson and catching up before heading to the address she gave him. Jay arrived at the address and waited for her to arrive, he waited and waited for what seemed like forever. His mind began going crazy thinking does she even wanna see me? What if she has a boyfriend or husband or something? What if this was a big mistake? Jays mind went crazy and just as he was about to walk away he heard a clicking of heels on the sidewalk that sounded all too familiar.
Jays POV:
As she walked closed to me I got more and more nervous which is very unlike me. And then I looked up and I saw her for the first time in 3 years and she looked even more stunning than I remembered. The look on her face is something I'll never forget because I've never seen that look before... my heart began to beat faster and my palms became a pool of sweat. That look on her face makes me think, this can't be good...
