General POV:
"I've been waiting for that question" Erin says and looks down as a small smiles crossed her face. Jay stands up and begins to slowly pace as he awaits an answer. "I was, but not anymore" she says "I'm sorry, what happened?" Jay responded "you know how it is with the job and unless there in the same field or a similar one they just don't understand the hours and the trauma and the stuff we see on a daily basis" Erin says and jay nods "are you seeing anyone?" Erin asks. "I was but she wasn't the one" Jay says and they both simultaneously let out a breath that they didn't know they were holding. "So what brings you to New York city" Erin asks "you" Jay responds. Erin gets a confused look on her face "I came to bring you home to chicago where you belong" Jay said and Erin could feel her stomach drop. "I ca..." Erin says before Jay cuts her off. "The chief that was trying to take Hank down and tried to take your badge he's gone. He died last year nobody even remembers the incident and I can promise you that no one is gonna try to go after you if you come back . Not with out having to go through Hank and I first" Jay says and Erins blushes a little. "I dont know Jay does Hank even know you here" she ask and Jay nods "of course he does" Jay says and takes a step closer, "come home to us, I know you miss this smile as much as I miss seeing yours" Jay says and smiles.
