Love's Playful Dance: Ishan's Prank and Shubman's Affection

"Batao na, Shubi," Ishan pleaded, but his husband was in no mood to reveal the surprise.

 "Nahi jaan," Shubman said. 

Ishan pouted at him and left the room, leaving Shubman alone.

 "Jaan, suno toh..." Shubman said, but Ishan had already disappeared.

 Ishan came downstairs and saw his sister-in-law, Shahneel, sitting in the living room.

 He went towards her and sat down with a pout.

 "Kya hua, Ishu?" Shahneel asked. 

"Shubi mujhe nahi bata rahe," Ishan said.

 "Kya nahi bata raha Shubi?" Shahneel asked.

 "Surprise kya hai," Ishan said. 

"Wo surprise hai na, Ishu, kaise batayega wo?" Shahneel stated. 

"Phir bhi, didi, chalo na, unse badla lete hai," Ishan said.

 "Thik hai, isme toh main mahir hun, kya karna hai bata," Shahneel said. 

Ishan squealed with excitement, and then both of them went inside the kitchen. 

"Hii mumma," Ishan greeted his mother-in-law. 

"Hii beta, tu idhar kya kar raha hai?" Mrs. Gill asked. 

"Shubi ko na coke pina hai," Ishan said.

 "Shubi coke piyega abhi?" Mrs. Gill said. 

Ishan nodded his head.

 "Kahan hai coke?" Ishan asked.

 "Dekh, fridge me hoga," Mrs. Gill said.

 "Ok," Ishan said and took out the coke from the fridge. 

He poured the coke into a glass and started to look for salt.

 He noticed that the salt was just beside the stove. 

So he went towards the stove. 

"Mumma, kya ban raha hai?" Ishan asked while trying to take the salt.

 "Tera aur Shubi ka favorite laccha paratha aur butter chicken," Mrs. Gill said.

 Ishan hugged her tightly.

 "Aap best ho," Ishan said.

 "Han han, aab mujhe banane de," Mrs. Gill said.

 Ishan successfully took the salt and poured two spoonfuls of it into the coke.

 "Ok, bye mumma, ham jaa rahe hai," Ishan said, and both of them came out of the kitchen. 

"Aab kya karega?" Shahneel asked. 

"Abhi na ye Shubi ko dunga," Ishan said. 

"Wo piyega?" Shahneel asked.

 "Han bilkul, didi, wo piyenge," Ishan said and went to their room, where Shubman was talking with Rohit and Virat.

Shubman noticed Ishan heading inside with a glass of coke and curiously asked, 

"Ye coke kiske liye jaan?" 

Ishan, with a mischievous grin, replied, "Aapke liye." 

Shubman was surprised.

 "Mere liye kyun?" he asked.

 Ishan pouted and said, "Main itni mehnat karke laya phir bhi aap nahi pee rahe ho." 

Shubman understood that Ishan was trying to be nice and didn't want to hurt his feelings.
