"You walked out of the school, disrespected The teacher, and the list goes on and on." The principal slammed his hand on the desk.

I lean over to the desk with a big smile. "I'm already receiving my punishment as we speak. I'm wearing a shirt that says Barbie on it." I point as he nods his head agreeing with me.

'Compel him.'

I stared into his eyes as I tapped my fingers onto the folder. "You will let me get away with this and tell nobody."

His pupils became bigger as repeated exactly what I said. I smirked as I skipped out of the office. To see Axel and Lindsey holding eachother at his locker.

His black shirt showing his muscles off with the fitted black skinny jeans. Anger is what I felt.

It felt like the whole Greg situation all over again. I forced a smile as Amelia walks besides me.

Breaking things off huh..

"Cute couple!" I shout out at them as she looks over at me with anger. She stomps over to me furious. "Couple? He dumped me because of this stupid mate thing." Her vein popped up on her forehead.

I smirked while keeping a hand on my hip. "Well that's sad." He listened to me and did it the right way.

"You think this is over stones. Watch your back." She barks at me as she bumps past me.

Axel leaned over on his locker causing a small smile appear on my lips. I slowly walk over to him ignoring everyone stares. He pushes my hair out of my face as I nervously held his hand.

"We won't date right away I want to do this the correct way. I don't want this to just be about the mate bond." He cautiously say to me.

I felt my cheeks become red as I nod my head in agreement. "For now on I'll be taking you to school, dates, and etc." he trails off.

I could feel my eyes swelling up as he lifted my hand up. "I still hate you." With a single tear falling down my face.

Trust is still going to have to be built.

"Look different don't like it stone." Gage says to me as I silently agreed with him. "So we're hitting the beach after school?" Gage asks Axel.

"Yeah, Your friend want to tag along with us?" Axel asks me as I look over at him. "Weren't we supposed to start trai-." He cuts me off.

"Told you I want to build this into a real one not based on that mate bonding." He explain as I nod my head.

I slowly back away from Axel a bit. "No funny business just friend first ok." I tell him as I turned towards Amelia.

"My friend here can answer for herself." I say as her lands on Gage. "You guys do realize is cold outside." Amelia points out the obvious.

"Butttt Gage Knox just asked me to the beach and I can't deny that." She squeals as my heart breaks for my cousin.

He has such a huge crush on Amelia. "So let's go." He pulls Amelia arm as I followed behind Axel.

We all ran out of the school rushing inside of Axels Mercedes Benz black G-wagon. I admired the look of as I sat in the passenger seat. "Emerald this is going to be fun!" She says in excitement.

We're going to beach that most likely humans are going to be near. Mother warned me about hunters and the power of controlling the thirst for blood.

I kept my hands between my legs as I nervously shake my leg. Axel slowly glances at me as he rests his hand on my leg sending tingles.

I bit my bottom lip a little hard as I begin to move a bit. "You guys remember when Axel pour pink glitter on Emerald head in the fourth grade." Amelia brought up as for me I let a loud laugh out.

"I remember that day she act like the world was ending. She didn't cry because I poured it on her. She cried because it was pink." Axel continues to laugh as he wipes his tears off from the corner of his eyes.

I watch the corner of his eyes wrinkles a bit from the laughter. I watch the trees passes as a realization came to understand.

"We don't have any swimwear." I brought up as Axel parks the wagon on the sand.

Axel hops out of the car as he opens my door side. He puts his hand out as I stare at his open hand. I just placed my small hands in his huge ones as he help me out of the car.

The waves were hitting the sand really hard. I turned around when i noticed Axel unbuttoning his jeans. I could hear the pants being pulled down.

"Ahem what are you doing?" I asked as he smirks. "You never went skinny dipping."I didn't know if that was sarcasm or he actually wanted to know.

I couldn't help laughing when I noticed Amelia is in her underwear's. Her light pink bra matching with her polka dotted panties. "This feels like freedom!" She yells.

My hands shake as I pulled my pants down while tossing the shirt on the sand. I lightly put the chucks and socks on the clothes.

I shut my eyes feeling the wind blowing against my hair. I gasp when my hair begins flowing against the wind.

I could hear Amelia's giggles making me open my eyes. She ran in the cold water splashing Gage with it. I smiled seeing her just full of happiness not a lot of people have the power to be this happy.

Then my eyes trail to Axel who is in front of me standing in the water. My body pulled itself towards him.

I took his hand once again as the waves slightly hit us. "Makes you feel free right." He smiles staring down at me.

I stared into his brown eyes staring at his wet lips then back at his eyes. "Sure enough does make me feel free." I whisper to him.

As he slowly brings me to the deeper side. I begin to panic as my feet couldn't touch the ground anymore. I could feel water going into my nose causing me to cough.

Axel picks me up as he wraps my legs around his waist. I nervously wrap my arms around his shoulder.

Our eyes just settled onto eachother as he pushes my wet hair behind my ear. "I won't ever let anything or anyone harm you." He whispers.

Chills went all over my body as I gasp at his placement. He placed his hands under my bum as our lips were inches from each other.

He leaned closer as I shut my eyes preparing myself for this kiss. "We should get out of this water." He whispers. I opened my eyes confused but agreeing with him.

Am I ugly?

Did my breath stink?

So many questions but also so many I ignored. I held onto him until we want on ground and out of the water. Axel and I took a seat next to our clothes.

I hugged my legs up to my chest trying to cover my body. We both stare at the sun above the water. "I want to but in the right time." He says.

When will the right time be?
