Twenty-Five

Emerald

I scream in pain feeling Axel wounds all over my body. I sped to the front stage as the arrows are being constantly shot on my arms leg.

I could feel them burning into my skin but I continue to yank them off.

'We fight we don't give up.' I hear my wolf says in my head.

I continue to throw the arrows to the ground. Greg eyes shown fear as he ran out of arrows. Connor is aiming another arrow at Axel who's screaming in pain yanking them off of him.

I kicked Greg in his throat as I flipped landing infront of Connor. I grabbed his bow breaking it into pieces as I held my head high staring into him.

I could feel the rage my mom felt when she murdered his father. "Like Father Like son." I say in such a whisper.

I grab the bow shoved it right into his stomach as he looks at me with watery eyes. I watch his body drop to the ground slowly as my head turns to Greg who's trying to get oxygen.

The anger that ran through me felt so different. In this very moment I'm no longer Emerald.

He begins to back away from me but I kneel right in front of him. "As for you once upon of time I did love you once." I trail off.

Then without looking at his face I shoved my whole hand into his chest. I gripped onto his heart as I threw across the floor. The blood splatters all over me as I felt the tears falling down my face.

His body began to decompose as I slightly turn my face as I watched him. "This is my turn to take my power back." I say in a shaky breath.

I sped over to Axel as I help him remove the arrows from his body. He groans in pain as lean my forehead against his. "It's gone their gone." I murmured as Axel groans as his bloody hands held my face.

"I think Greg was the main source." He says as he forces himself to stand up in pain.

Everyone were hugging eachother as I snuggled my face into Axels neck. We both limped out of the gym as I took one last glance at Greg's limped body on the floor.

I sat Axel down against the lockers as i see his wounds healing. I sigh in relief as I kiss his forehead gently.

I pulled my phone out as my breath became rapidly. "Yes we need the limo back here immediately." I pleaded on the other end.

"I'm sorry that our prom was ruined." I softly say to Axel feeling distraught.

"Being with nothing could ever ruin that." He breaths out each word. I held his hand tightly feeling my world complete.

Axel limped with me to the front of the school as we see the limo pull up. "We can't go to the house." He opens the door as he lays on the seat.

I look at the seats too see they were already being somewhat covered with blood.

We're gonna have to tip the driver extra money for all this mess.

"Where we going to go than Axel." I rub my face gently as the stress begins to devour my mind.

"Gage." He simply says as I sigh.
