Fifteen

Emerald

I dust off the falling leaves off of my body as all the trees were completely dead. There is just me in this huge circle.

Alone.

Cold.

I ran through the trees trying to find an escape but I couldn't run. It just brought me back here to this huge circle.

The sunlight shine down in the middle of the circle. A woman with long white hair as white as the snow. Her beauty is undeniable she had a goddess like dress aswell on.

Her eyes were so majestic they were a shining bright blue.

"Come here my child." She whispered to me as I stood there frozen. She is speaking to me?

"Yes my child I'm speaking to you." Her voice echoed as if she is a spirit. Then the blue sparkle lights that shine through her hair made me pause.

This is the moon goddess herself.

Am I dead?

I walk over to her staring at her in awe.

She points at the ground while glancing at me. "You are not dead just yet." She explains to me with a smile that is so contagious.

"You see my child I didn't mean to meet you like this. I also can't expose my true identity among the others. This is the only way for us to speak." She explains as I continuously look at her confused.

"You are in coma honey." She explains as my heart sinks. The thought of leaving Axel behind shattered me.

"I'm going to be taking you to your past, present, and future." She explains to me as her pale hands gently settled onto mines.

"You remind me so much of your mother." She smiles at me as I look at her with eyes full of tears.

"You are not proud of what you are sweetie." She turns to me as I could feel my eyes looking down in shame.

"What you have is such a powerful gift. I'm going to take you to you past, present, and future to reassure you on who you are. You will see why what you are is such a powerful gift." I hear the sadness in her tone.

"I'm just so different than everyone else." I explained to her. "Now Child we are indifferent from one another. That's what is special about it." She stands up while reaching her hand out to me.

"Now come along dear." She waves her hand as she waves another hand and there's a portal.

I took her hand gently as she pulls me into the portal and we were at my parents house. I could see father picking up a thirteen year old.

Yup that's me.

The flat chest, the braces, and glasses done it for me.

"By the way call me Selene." She smiles brightly as I looked back at her shock.

Can't believe I'm on first name bases with the moon goddess herself. She fixed her crescent crown that is on her head.
