Emerald

Smile.

Wave.

Two simple steps but it feels like a wave a goodbyes forever. In times like these people drive apart and never speak again.

I watch everyone fix their cap and gowns. I'm so happy that they're black. Obviously Amelia had to find someway to put the pink in her cap and gown.

I smiled looking over at Axel who's got his gown unzip and open. His cap is tilted to the side on his head. "Really babe?" I asked him walking over and fixing his gown.

"Emerald I need help with touch up on my makeup." Amelia panicked as she roams through her bag.

"Let's head to the ladies room." I put her makeup bag under my arms as we rushed to the bathroom.

I set the makeup bag on top the sink looking for lipgloss. My eyes landed on two brand new pads in there. "Amelia why do you have pads in yo-." I cut myself off as I leaned against the mirror looking at her in shock.

"Your on your period?" I asked her as she randomly laughs. "What type of question is that Emerald? Yes I'm on my period." She leans in the mirror putting a bit of mascara on.

Realization just hit me hard I usually get my period before Amelia. The last time I got my period is before the cabin trip.

The cabin trip was about two and half months ago. "When was the last time you were on your period?" Amelia asks amused about all of this.

"Before the cabin trip." I simply tell her as she looks extremely happy.

"Didn't he use protection when you two finished the mating process?" She asks as I passed her the lipgloss.

My mind begins to bring me back to the day as it dawns on me. "After the graduation ceremony I have to buy a pregnancy test." I nervously say on the edge of crying.

I'm still so young dealing with Luna duties and a mother at the same time is going to be stress.

"Hey hey calm down. Let's get this ceremony over with and worry about that after." She rubs my arm while hugging me.

"If you're graduating today please prepare for the walk down!" The principal says in the intercom.

"Shoot!" Amelia shouts as she gathers her makeup. We both ran towards the auditorium as we see our boys punching eachother in the arm. 'Cut that out.' Amelia mouths to them with a stern look.

They both look at her and straighten themselves. "Let's give a round of applause for the class of 2023!" The principal shouts on the microphone.

I wave my small hands to avoid the from sweating. The song began playing as the guys and girls began walking together. I smiled seeing Amelia and Gage walking side by side.

Axel and I look over at eachother. "Ready?" He asks me as I nod my head. We begin to walk past everyone I see my family here even my grandparents.

This is the first time I've seen my Grandparents in a long time. "Isn't that your grandpa Landon?" Axel asks leaning over in my ears.
