Y/N POV -

Couple of weeks passed since you returned to Yoon Mansion. Yoon Mansion brought back the life you ran away from. You became busy in every day duties. Jeonghan's behaviour with you was as usual, it didn't changed. He was sometime too good with you and sometime mean. Jeonghan and Miki was inseparable now, everything about Miki was adorned by Jeonghan. Ara meddled with you from time to time but you endured it for the sake of Miki. Soobin, the new chef in Yoon kitchen became your good friend. Every afternoon, after lunch you'd visit empty kitchen to bake something and Soobin would join you. Initially it was co incidence but later it became routine to spend your afternoon in kitchen talking with soobin.

Today you baked chocolate cookies that Miki was craving for. You walked into bedroom after bidding goodbye to Soobin. You set the plate of freshly baked cookies on the beside table, casting a glance at Miki as she slept peacefully, her tiny form curled up beneath the soft blankets. With a gentle smile, you settled into the chair beside the crib, waiting patiently for her to wake.

You lost in your thoughts drifting toward Soobin. There was something about his presence, his easygoing nature, that made you feel strangely alive, as if a spark of hope had been reignited within you.

Lost in your own world, you didn't notice the subtle shift in Miki's breathing until she stirred, blinking sleepily as she woke. With a soft smile, you leaned closer, brushing a gentle kiss against her forehead.

"Hey sweetheart, I baked the cookies." You said picking the plate of cookies. Miki's eyes lit up at the mention of cookies, her face breaking into a wide grin as she reached out eagerly for the plate from crib. Laughing softly, you handed her a cookie, watching as she took a small bite, her expression one of pure delight. You became concerned as you observed Miki munching on the cookies, her usually rosy cheeks appearing strangely pale in the soft light of the room. Setting aside your own fears, you gently scooped Miki into your arms, her small frame feeling unnervingly light against you. It wasn't that you suddenly noticed it but since last week you were noticing Miki. The sight of Miki becoming increasingly irritable over the course of the week filled you with deep concern. You thought of taking Miki for basic check up.

The next afternoon you attempted to feed Miki her lunch, after you returned back from attending an important event from morning. Chef's had prepared nutritional meal for Miki but Miki kept refusing to eat from Sana. So, you immediately took the plate from Sana and tried feeding Miki. You told Sana that she can now take leave if wanted and Sana proceed to walk away.

You tried to feed Miki but as soon as the spoon approached her lips, Miki's tiny face scrunched up in protest, her mouth clamping shut in defiance. With each attempt to coax her into taking a bite, her resistance only seemed to grow stronger, her cries echoing off the walls of the otherwise silent mansion.

Frustration welled up inside you as you struggled to understand why she was refusing to eat. Was it the taste? The texture? Or was there something else bothering her that you couldn't see? Desperate to get her to eat even a single mouthful, you tried everything in your power to coax her into cooperation but Miki remained stubbornly resolute, her cries growing louder with each passing moment. In the end, all you could do was hold her close, whispering soothing words of comfort as you rocked her gently back and forth in your arms keeping the plate of food aside.

As Miki calmed down a bit, with a sense of urgency pulsing through your veins, you swiftly gathered Miki's essentials, carefully placing them inside her small backpack. You grabbed your handbag and walked out from bedroom. You made your way to the grand entrance of Yoon Mansion, the marble floors echoing with the sound of your footsteps. The Yoon Mansion was silent as usual everyone was at servant quarters for rest in afternoon. You didn't even found Sana to tell that you were stepping out to see pediatrician. Surprisingly, there was no one guarding the front door.
Frowning in confusion, you glanced around, searching for any sign of the usual security detail in premises. But the mansion stood eerily silent. You walked toward the car porch as car arrived in front of main door. You slipped into the car telling the address to driver.
