CHAPTER - 15

JEONGHAN POV -

"Where is Y/n?" Mingyu asked Jeonghan while checking Miki.

"Hyung?" Mingyu asked again as he saw Jeonghan lost in his thoughts.

"I asked, where is Y/n?" Jeonghan startled hearing Mingyu repeat the question. Jeonghan was nervous since he left his hometown. The amount of glances he took toward you and Miki before sitting in car were insane. The uneasiness in his heart was too much to ignore. He wasn't sure whether he should keep Miki back with you. Madam Yoon and Mia were there with you but Jeonghan couldn't trust. But now that Miki was back safely with Madam Yoon, Jeonghan's heart wasn't at peace anyway. He couldn't shake the strange feeling.

"T-that, she's still at family house." Jeonghan stuttered while speaking as he glanced at Miki who was continuously crying since she woke up. She wanted her Mamma and was irritated by not having you by her side. Jeonghan shrugged thinking that the whole hectic day and long travel caused her irritation.

"She's crying since she woke up." Jeonghan informed Mingyu without missing details.

"What you expect hyung? She need her mother to feed her." Mingyu replied rubbing Miki's back.

"She looks perfectly fine, but visit again. I had given some tests, get them done tomorrow. I'll tell staff to sent reports to me and will give you call if anything is serious." Mingyu handed Jeonghan Miki's file. Mingyu then gave a chocolate from small box on his table to Miki. But Miki wasn't looking calm like always she pushed Mingyu's hand away crying and screaming. Mingyu also seemed shock with Miki's behaviour. Mingyu was always famous in kids and Miki wasn't exception, somehow she was little too irritated which also shocked Jeonghan.

"Appaa" Miki shouted from Mingyu's lap looking at Jeonghan. Jeonghan immediately stretched his hand to take hold of Miki. Miki has always been a sweet tooth, her such behaviour disturbed Jeonghan. Miki tightly hugged Jeonghan burying her face in his chest. Her cries muffled making Jeonghan's heart hurt painfully.

"Sorry Mingyu, I'll meet you once you're back. Have a safe trip." Jeonghan spoke getting up as Miki thrashed in his hold.

"It's okay princess. Let's go home, Mamma will be home soon." Jeonghan tried calming Miki by whispering sweet words.

As he was walking toward the car he got call from you. Jeonghan beamed with happiness looking at the glowing screen.

"Look, it's Mama's call." Jeonghan cooed near sobbing Miki. Miki looked towards Jeonghan with big teary eyes. She tried snatching the mobile with her tiny hands.

"Hello, Angel?" Jeonghan spoke but the silence from another side was terrifying. Jeonghan heartbeat fastened unnecessarily. He breathed closing his eyes. He didn't knew what was this feeling. A loud voice from another side didn't reached Jeonghan when suddenly Miki took the phone. After few seconds Jeonghan took the phone back from Miki.

"Angel." Jeonghan asked sweetly not aware of any situation. He sighed when no sound came from another side. He thought that maybe it was network issue from your side. So he cut the call and walked toward car sitting inside.

"Mama" Miki sobbed in Jeonghan's chest. She was sounding sleepy now.

"Yeah, princess. Mama will come soon." Jeonghan said rubbing Miki's back to calm her down. Jeonghan signalled driver to start car.
