CHAPTER - 26

Y/N POV -

On the same night you were roaming in kitchen because you were hungry. You didn't had proper dinner today because of the chaos you caused, the atmosphere of Mansion was bit heavy. You already put Miki to sleep earlier because she was exhausted.

You sat on the counter after taking your food on plate. You ate in silence, as no one was present in kitchen. When you were about to finish your food you heard Soobin's voice.

"Y/n?" You recognised his voice immediately and your head snapped in his direction.

"Hey." You waved towards him as he walked toward you. "It's been a long time." You continued. You didn't got to interact with him in long time. After the letter incident happened, you cut off your contact with Soobin due to fear.

"Yeah." Soobin smiled sweetly.

"It's so late, what are you doing here?" You inquired putting your plate away.

"That's something I should ask you." Soobin replied, making you giggle.

"I was hungry." You said, proceedings to get down from counter. Soobin held your hand to help you.

"Y/n!" Your attention now towards another sharp voice. You saw Jeonghan standing few feet away from you and Soobin. His eyes fixed on Soobin. Jeonghan walked toward you and you unconsciously tried to cover Soobin behind you.

"You can't protect me, Mrs. Yoon." You heard Soobin chuckle lowly near you. You looked back at him and realised he was right. His towering height behind you was the proof that you did nothing good to hide him. You blinked few times as you turned to look at your husband. You weren't afraid this time like always. In last few months your fear for Jeonghan nearly disappeared as you realised he was controlling you because you let him control you.

Jeonghan was standing in front of you now. You stared at him. Jeonghan raised his hand which made you flinch and close your eyes, however there was silence so you opened your eyes but immediately met with harsh slap on your cheek, making you stumble.

"How many times I have to warn you?" You heard Jeonghan say. Your eyes stinging due to pain. You looked at Soobin who was looking like he saw ghost, his eyes wide. You stood straight and slapped Jeonghan back.

"How many times I told you that he's just friend?" You also retorted. Now Soobin looked even more flustered and shocked. Jeonghan also had his pupils blown due to how forcefully you slapped back.

"Say Sorry! You can't disrespect me like that." You said looking at Jeonghan with demanding voice.

"Let's go back in room." Jeonghan said trying to grab your hand but you stepped back.

"First say sorry." You repeated.

"Yeah, I'll. Let's go in room." Jeonghan again stepped forward to hold your hand but you jerked his hand.

"You slapped me in front of him, say sorry in front of him." You scoffed looking away.

"Angel.." you heard Jeonghan's whine but you cut him mid sentence.

"Don't Angel me, just say Sorry." You said.

Okay, Sorry. Let's go now." Jeonghan said bit annoyed.

"Say it nicely." You eyed him in disappointment.

"Y/n" Jeonghan's voice was stern this time. But you remained still not saying anything looking away. You heard Jeonghan sigh in defeat.
