Y/N POV -

You stared at the empty space in huge master bedroom. The bruises on your body didn't hurt anymore. However, there was this dull ache in your heart after having a one-way conversation with your husband. Waking up from the deadly accident didn't felt right after what Jeonghan told you this morning. What was the benefit of all fight you put up to return back to life if your daughter was going to be separated from you. You whole life was summed up to leave Miki alone in the toxic household. You played with fire multiple time without caring about your life just to eventually end up like this.

'How can you say that?' You called Mia after some time.

'It's the best decision to save your life at this point Mrs. Yoon.' Mia said from another side, she seemed like she was in hurry.

'I can't live without Miki.' You cried harder.

'I can't say much in this. I'll talk to you later Mrs. Yoon.' Mia ended the call without listening to you further.

It was now evening, you walked slowly going outside the bedroom. Tears were dried on your cheek. You walked down on second floor. Mansion staff was busy with work. Everyone was so much in hurry that they didn't noticed your presence rather they didn't want to notice it. Everyone feared Ara and she was going to be one of their bosses from today onward. It was obvious that everyone wanted to obtain her favor. Between all this chaos one maid collided with you and you fell down. Fresh tears ran down your cheek as the maid simply uttered 'Sorry' and hurried to walk away for completing her work. You got up with support of wall and again started walking weakly. You hated how everything changed within a day. The power dynamics in Yoon Household were so strong that, one moment you were important and now someone else was important than you. You heard something break into one of the familiar rooms.

"Jeongja" you peaked into the bedroom to see broken alcohol bottle and drunk Jeongja trying to fill her glass. You immediately walked inside avoiding the broken glass pieces. You helped Jeongja to sit on the couch to keep her away from the shattered glasses. Jeongja giggled looking at you. You sat across her on another couch. Jeongja again leaned to fill her glass.

"You are already drunk." You said in slightly disappointed tone. You already knew Jeongja wasn't going to listen to you anyway even if you try to stop her.

"Oh, my sweet sister-in-law. You're the only one who care for me beside oppa." Jeongja said resting her head on couch.

"Ara will be your new sister-in-law anyway." You murmured with sad chuckled. Jeongja heard you and snapped her head toward you.

"Come on, I don't like anyone else as my sister-in-law. Ara will never take your place." Jeongja scrunched her nose a little bit while speaking.

"Oppa must be again in some trouble if he really agreed to marry her." Jeongja further continued which caught your attention.

"What you mean by that?" You asked getting curious.

"Can't you see it. He is definitely forced to do it. It's all written on his face, he doesn't look like that when he is doing something willingly." Jeongja said handing you glass of beer. You accepted it and took sip of the alcohol. You weren't allowed to drink alcohol so randomly but right now everything sucked so you just decided to drink.

"Yeah, I saw him crying for the first time today." You agreed gulping down more alcohol.

"He loves you, but what to do? He needs to fulfill his duties also." Jeongja too stated drinking. You hummed extending you hand to take the bottle again pouring alcohol in your now empty glass. You were relieved that at least Jeongja was sparing her time to talk with you.
