CHAPTER - 25

Y/N POV -

It was finally the day, the day your fate will be decided. You were going to exchange the papers for divorce with the papers of shares. You didn't left your room the whole day, you spent your time with Miki.

"Nana is looking for you." Jeonghan said looking at you sitting in front of Miki who just started painting something. You carefully placed color pallet in front of her handing her the brush.

"Can't we do it here?" You asked sweetly smiling at Jeonghan with doe eyes. You knew Jeonghan would never deny those eyes. Even though he hated you, at some point you were well aware of your effect on him.

"Y-Yeah I'll tell her." Jeonghan blinked as he gulped down looking at you. His heart clenching thinking about current situation. You were slipping from his claws with every passing second. Jeonghan walked out of the room.

You looked towards the transparent water container which was now showing colorful water mixture of different colors that Miki have washed from brush. The evil smirk replaced your sweet smile as you gave light knock to the water container spilling the water on marble floor.

"Ohh... We need to refill the water, Miki." You said picking up the container. Miki giggled as she splattered into the small pool of water with her hands. You filled the container with water and sat beside Miki watching her. The evening sky looked beautiful. Different shades of pink and blue painted the sky in marvelous gradient. It was indeed going to be beautiful start again, you smiled while thinking. The footsteps echoing in corridor made you look toward the door of bedroom. Your heartbeat increased, finally it was the time.

"Take Miki." Nana ordered her maid looking at you. You didn't break eye contact and pulled Miki back into you getting up.

"First give me papers of shares." you said while side eying Jeonghan. Jeonghan looked at you with sad eyes. The atmosphere was tense, with Grandma, Ara, Jeonghan and couple of lawyers including Hong Jisoo and Mia standing beside your husband. It was like nightmare coming into life with all the peoples standing in front of you. You and your daughter against the Yoon household just like before. This time your unborn daughter earlier was clang to your body by seeing so many people in the room. Time seemed to stop, the silence in the room was creepy. You could clearly hear your fasten heartbeat along with Miki's steady one. Your daughter was the only thing that mattered to you right now and what your heart concentrated on. You stepped back toward balcony, you never wanted this wealth. You wanted to live your life peacefully with you husband and daughter.

"Y/n" Jeonghan's voice near you pulled you from your thoughts. Jeonghan wrapped his hands around you and Miki carefully. "It's the time, Angel" he whispered and pressed a kiss on your temple. You nodded your head, handing him Miki. Jeonghan stayed still by your side. Nana walked toward you, she gave you papers of share. Grandma smirked and extended her hand toward you. You could see Ara's face also showing expressions of victory. You stayed still looking at grandma.

"Give me divorce papers." she said when you didn't moved for long time. You folded your hands securing the share papers and smiled sheepishly.

"That, I can't, actually." you stated.

"What?" Nana snapped looking toward you. Everyone looking at you with wide eyes. "I gave you papers this morning, what you meant you can't. Just sign the papers and give me. You see lawyers standing here, right?" Grandma said gritting her teeth.

"Where are the papers?" Nana further asked annoyed.

"Umm, Actually Miki drew painting and spilled some colored water on them." you said pointing toward floor, where multiple papers were scattered drenched in colorful water. One of the papers was your divorce agreement.
