Summary: Arthur doesn't like it when others take Merlin's attention away from him

⋪ Arthur POV ⋫

I clenched my teeth seeing Merlin smiling at a person other than me, too many people fall in love with his smile. 

I know I don't have to worry about Leon, Gawein, Lancelot, Mordred, Persival and Elyan taking him away from me because I know they see Merlin like a younger brother. 

It doesn't help me that King Amun with his wife Jade and daughter Anastasia along with their three personal servants and six knights are coming to visit. 

I know that they leave Prince Alastor in control of the castle, he is the only one I like out of the whole family. 

I don't make the same mistake anymore and give Merlin as their help because he belongs to me. 

I don't want to overwork him again like last time when he passed out from exhaustion. I forget sometimes that he helps Gaius after by collecting herbs or delivering medicine to people. 

I hope Amelia doesn't come with them as one of their servants. I know that she has feelings for My Merlin and it bothers me a lot just as I know that Anastasia has feelings for me. 

I know that her parents hope that their daughter will become Queen of Camelot but that will never happen because that place belongs to My Warlock. 

I've known about Merlin magic for a few weeks now, I made him tell me everything when I caught him during his tasks. I rubbed my tired eyes when I opened them again I noticed that Merlin was not in the square. I jumped up when I felt a hand on my shoulder 

'' Is everything okay Arthur? '' asked Merlin 

'' All is well Merlin I was just thinking about the arrival of King Amun, Queen Jade and Princess Anastasia. You know you are to disobey them, I don't want you to be overtired like last time. They will arrive with three servants so every time they ask you for something you say you have to meet me or help Gaius. You can use Leon, Gawein, Lancelot, Mordred, Persival and Elyan as an excuse too '' I said 

'' I know Arthur you've told me this several times. However, I know there is more there '' he said 

'' You know you can trust me '' he added 

'' King Amun and Queen Jade are hoping their daughter will become Queen of Camelot. I have a feeling they will do everything to make that happen '' I said 

'' That's why you have a special enchanted ring to protect you from charms, spells and love poisons. I spent several weeks to be sure that in no way will you be enchanted again. Only I or you can take it off '' he said raising my hand with the ring 

'' I know but still '' I said as Merlin pulled me into a hug which I quickly reciprocated 

'' If you feel better I will be by your side all the time '' he said 

'' I will feel much better '' I replied 

'' What other plans do I have for today? '' I asked 

'' You have the afternoon off '' he replied 

'' Perfect, you can show me more of your magic '' I said and with a small laugh he walked to the door and made sure it was locked.

 When he was sure we had some privacy his eyes lit up a beautiful golden color before the illusion of dragons appeared all around us
