backstory: Everything sucked. For some reason, her sister was excused from being imprisoned or floated, but nobody knew that. Really, the people of the arc believed that it was Celeste who was excused which led to many of the prisoners to hate her. She was disliked for 'breaking the rules' despite being born first. Worst of all, her mother and father didn't bother to correct people. She loved her parents, she truly did. They were good parents except for that one thing. But for Celeste, she was nothing compared to her twin, Clarke. Instead, she was just the other Griffin. To the prisoners she was a golden child who was spoiled beyond normal. To her parents, she was the other child and to herself, she was nothing. She was nothing special, but when the stupid chancellor decided to send a bunch of children onto the radiated earth, she became something much better. She became her true self.
