"So you're telling me you've never seen this woman?" The detective questioned an irritated Luciano, as he sat with his hand extended onto the table as his other hand rested in his lap. The blank expression on his face never changing, he kept his expression flat.

Shaking his head slowly, he brought the fat cigar to his lips as he lit it with his lighter. "Nope. never seen her before brother man."

A lie.

He knew exactly who the woman in the picture was, she was the woman whom he was searching for himself, she'd always seem to disappear like a thief in the night.

He also was no stranger to the picture the detective showed, that was the only picture of Kyrei that any one had ever seen. Ironically, her back was turned in the photo. She was private, she came from a private family, and her occupation was also another reason why she never took pictures.

Ironically, Kyrei was the main antagonist in his life, her multiple attempts to take it, not going unnoticed.

That didn't matter to Luciano, no matter what he wouldn't turn her in to the police. He'd rather kill her himself than throw her away for the rest of her life.

It was funny, because he'd rather them two play the sick twisted game that they were playing opposed to her going to jail. God knows, she deserved to be locked away forever.

He knew if he chose to not turn her into the police that she would try her best to get rid of him. He didn't care though, he'd never go against the grain. He would never cooperate with the police, he was too real for that.

"Why do I get the sense that you're lying?" The detective asked as his face formed into a frown from the smell of Luciano's cigar, the distinct smell making him a little dizzy.

Luciano's brown eyes met with his green ones, "I don't have to lie. I could admit to murdering seven people right now and there would be nothing that you could do to put me in jail. That's how powerful I am, detective." His eyes trailed down to the detective's badge, "Smith."

Ashing his cigar on the detective's desk, Luciano stood up from the steel chair. Blowing smoke from his mouth, he shot the detective a smirk, "Good luck." He said as he turned on his heels, making his way out of the room.

His walk was one of the most dominating things about him, he walked with his head held high and chest poked out. His tall silhouette and broad shoulders illuminated the energy of a lion.

A lion was the perfect animal to describe Luciano Vince Carter. He was the epitome of a man. He dominated every room he walked into, he was respectful, and took care of every woman in his life. Although he was a threat to many, he was overall a great man.

He made his way out of the precinct from the back door, his security hot on his trail as he descended down the stairs. His Gucci Mac 80's hitting the pavement hard with each stride he took, he took another pull from his cigar as he approached his Mercedes-Benz S550.

"Oh, Lucci..." A soft, feminine voice called out in a singing manner.

Luciano's security guard Melvin was quick to step in front of him as he shielded him from the five foot three woman.

Luciano let out a chuckle as he stepped from behind Melvin, "I'm good bro, she know better now. Don't you mama?"

Kyrei let out a laugh of her own, stepping closer to Luciano. Her jet black hair was straightened, and layered in the front to frame her face. Her face was free of any makeup, her honey skin glowing under the sun light.

She shifted her almond shaped, brown eyes so that her gaze met his. A smirk plastered over her face as she examined him from head to toe. "I don't know better, but you do." She spat, "Kept your mouth shut?"

Luciano scoffed as he grabbed her arm, pulling her in the opposite direction of where his car was parked. "You know my fuckin' name. Biting cheese ain't ever been my thing, baby." He scolded. "You shouldn't even fuckin' be here, you posed to be on the next flight to Europe right now." He whisper-shouted as he gripped her arm tighter.

His grip was so tight that she felt it through the black leather jacket she wore over her white tank top. Snatching her arm away from him, she rolled her eyes. "I know." She grumbled, "I came to say goodbye."

Luciano's eye brows raised as he examined her face. Her usually cold brown eyes softened as she pouted a little. This was the most genuine she's been with him, despite them growing close and sleeping together at times they'd never been intimate. At least not like how either of them wanted to.

Grabbing her by her waist, Luciano pulled Kyrei towards him, leaning down as he placed a hungry, passionate kiss on to her lips.

Kyrei's eyes widened as she melted into the kiss, deepening the kiss she stood on her tip toes, wrapping her arms around his neck, caressing the nape of it.

How could something so wrong feel so right?

...

Their long lasting rivalry had in an odd way, brought them closer. Their mixed feelings for each other confused the both of them, they both knew something was there.

Luciano Vince Carter, best known as "Doughboy." was known for being a heartless, coldblooded killer. He was a ruthless drug dealer from Detroit, MI. who didn't care about anyone but himself. Feared was an understatement.

Kyrei Catalina Moreales best known as "Cat" was a mob princess. Everyone knew who Cat's father was and what he was known for but, not everyone knew how she looked, for her safety thats how her father wanted it to be. She liked it that way, anyway. The more low-key she was the more she was able to get away with.

Money hungry, and addicted to the mob life, once Cat's father: the capo of the most dangerous mob in Detroit, dies: Cat decided she would take down the towns most richest King Pin, Luciano. After a successful robbery Cat now has a bounty on her head, problem is none of Luciano's crew knew how this "Cat" person looked.

Once Cat and Luciano finally collide, things take a turn for the worst, or will they?
